the fact that pyro turned both shelby and cleo by accident instead of scott doing it actually makes me more feral about the whole 'pyro calling Scott sire' thing. because sure its possible that pyro just heard that in some vampire literature somewhere and assumed that was the Done Thing, not wanting to upset scott (and considering how scared he is of scott, thats fair enough), but consider. scott is a very old, very powerful vamp. he turns pyro, and immediately pyro feels that power. he calls him sire out of instinct and respect. but shelby and cleo are practically the same age as him, vampire-wise. theres no way that they feel any sort of subservience towards pyro, thats like deferring to your twin thats a minute older versus deferring to your parents. so they dont call pyro sire, why would they? shelby clearly deferred to scott instead, why wouldnt she, hes much more powerful and she knows him better than pyro, and well. cleo hasnt really accepted her place in the coven at all yet, so.
