The core idea behind Structured Magic is that art, when applied with the right intention and expertise can have a significant impact on people's well-being.
This project is a search for innovative approaches and creative methods on how to mitigate the negative impact of the pandemic and war on the mental well-being of youth workers and the people they work with.
Right now we are looking for 24 participants who would like to join us in beautiful Latvia and take part in an imaginative training course which will happen from August 15 to August 23' 2023.
This training course offers you an opportunity to learn unconventional tools and methods to support mental well-being and resilience, stimulate creativity, motivation, playfulness, and better communication, and improve the self-regulation skills of yourself and the young people you work with. Not only will you yourself experience these tools, but you will also gain a new toolset to support the young people in your practice.
The methodology of the course includes a mix of storytelling, creative writing, outdoor activities, theatre and movement improvisation as well as different exercises that support personal reflection and learning from each other.
If you are a youth worker, teacher, social worker, career counsellor, peer educator or facilitator of experiential learning activities, if you are curious about these topics and methods, and if you live in Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovenia, France, Italy, Hungary, Spain, Serbia or Greece, you are welcome to join this project.
