not everything has to be romantic you know. satoru was 29 when he went back and his goal was to prevent hinazuki, hiromi and nakanishi from being killed. his happy ending wouldve been to prevent those deaths and go back to a future where they didnt die and thats kind of what happened. i enjoy satoru and hinazuki's relationship as platonic but whatever floats your boat

You know I would have agreed with you, if throughout the entire series they would have been just that, friends with just platonic feelings for one another. Except that’s not really what happened, there have been so many moments that show the required feelings they had for one another. Satarou risked so much and sacrificed so much just so he could save kayo. He cried when he was relived that she was okay, and gave her lonely life hope. Kayo obviously had romantic feelings for him too, and just the fact that she was hesitant to marry while he was in a coma proves it. When satarou was in the hospital , who was the one person that was able to immediately rekindle his old memories almost immediately. It was kayo. He didn’t even need a moment to try and remember her, it was almost immediate after he saw her face. And he was crying out of joy that she was alright and alive.

I wouldn’t have a problem it they had started out as just friends in the beginning, but that was so far from the truth as they have shown to have required feelings for each other.

Here’s hoping another revival in the last episode.

I’m actually disappointed that Yashiro was the killer. It was way too obvious and he was the first one that everyone suspected. I can’t tell if they were trying to use reverse psychology with this or what but the point is that it ended up being anti climactic as hell. However the show is still great, I’ll give it that

Whyy

Boku dake ga inai machi / / Ereased ep 10... I have not seen the manga, but yet I was right about who the killer is - which is a shame because I really grew to like that character. I had my guesses the first time that character appeared, and they just grew stronger with every episode, but always-somewhere in me, I hoped it wasn’t true...
