What OTPs in your fandom(s) do you just not get?
*cough* as I have a tendency for having the OTPs as my NOTPs: I completely do not get behind Gigolas shipped in a sexual way. Yes, i see the friendship (it’s my BrOTP), but apart from that I do not get why ppl ship it romantically (that said: ship whatever you like and I respect it xD)
Any fandoms that don’t appeal to you?
Well - it’s a hard question for me because I am only active in Tolkien fandom and that’s basically the only thing I would say I am so deep down the rabbithole that it can be called ‘fandom’. I mean, sure i am interested in ‘The Song of Achilles’, photography, literature in general, Loki and so on over here - but on a level that I would not call it ‘fandom’. Well - if we stay in Tolkien’s shipping world, I have to admit it’s Barduil. I still really enjoy the ship, I love a lot of the art floating around for it, but generally I do not feel as if I am part of this fandom (or do want to be anymore) for the simple reason that idk 70% of the fics, headcanons, general discussions are simply not my cup of tea (again: do ship it in whatever way you like), so over the months I have slowly removed myself from this fandom and stopped being all too active in it.
Any fandom you’re ashamed of being in?
apart from all the incest ship fandoms I am in? Naah, not really, because the same as to question 3 applies. Only active in Tolkien Fandom and that proudly and since many years (if not on tumblr somewhere else)
