the “maybe i was born to race mikasa and eren on this hill” line hits SO fucking hard b/c. they really only live and fight for each other. they love each other so much. they think their purpose for being alive is so they can be together. they’re trying so hard to survive so they can have what they had as kids. somebody fucking sedate me ema is the heart and soul of attack on titan and i love them so much :((( listening to red swan is the OPPOSITE of therapy for me rn i miss them so bad

i have the most achingly beautiful fanart of eren, armin and mikasa as my phone BG (by shesdeny on twitter/tiktok) and it actually makes me feel like tearing up every time i look at it because it's so beautiful and makes me believe in what i always wanted from the series

anyway, i'm so glad the rumbling never happened, i'm so glad the Titan reign was ended by nonviolent means, i'm so glad the world entered and remained in an era of unprecedented peace, and i'm so incredibly grateful and happy that eren and armin and mikasa are all alive and in love with each other and now they can pursue a long and joyous life together with hands held and i hope every moment they continue to live will be nothing but a picture of joy and true love
