no you're on to something.

you throw it out there, hesitantly, that you wanna do your boyfriends makeup. you say it quite casually, and at first he's kinda hesitant to try it out. but he caves instantly when you tell him you can do it all from the comfort of his lap. he thinks, "fuck it. it'll make her happy and i get to touch her all night." so he caves. i don't think he knows what he signed up for though, as he's seated on the toilet with various makeup products around him. its a mess, and as soon as you pulled out a concealer that perfectly matched him, he knew he fell right into your trap. you planned this all along.

he decides to brush it off, because you look so sweet hovering above him like that. he wraps his arms around your waist and just sits there. its, to his surprise, quite relaxing. you think its cute how curious he is, he recognizes a bunch of products and with childlike wonder, pauses a few times and genuinely asks "baby, what does this do?". you melt a little every time. after all the explanations, you give him some concealer, some blush and some glitter and shift over to the counter, grabbing some pencil eyeliner and mascara. this is where, according to you, it doesn't get relaxing anymore. you cant get anywhere. as soon as you try to bring the eyeliner to his face he tries to bite your hand playfully, and he starts laughing at your annoyance. you slap a hand over his mouth to try to get him to stop, but he tries to bite that too, and you start laughing along with him. you forgot how annoying he was for a hot second.

you finally get somewhere, although placing the black eyeliner on his waterline was a fucking challenge and a half. ("its going on my eyeball?? are you trying to blind me?? what the fuck is this thing??" "eren, its just your waterline babe. breathe." "what the fuck is my waterline?!?") after some struggling, you're done and you usher him to stand up. as soon as he catches a glimpse of your smiling face, his heart melts. even though he's probably going to hate it, your face was worth all of the effort. he bites his tongue, stands at the counter and, wait. wait, wow. what the fuck did you do to him? everything is perfect. its not too much and too little, and you realize you fucked up with this mini burst of confidence. he thinks he looks hot and this is bad.

"yeah i guess i like the eyeliner. can you, um, teach me how to do it please?"

anyways, he realizes two things that night. skincare is actually really relaxing, and you need to start doing his makeup more often.
