Dig Me Out Podcast – #340: Guitar Gods of the 1990s Roundtable
Dig Me Out Podcast – #340: Guitar Gods of the 1990s Roundtable
For our latest roundtable we aim at the heavens and request an audience with the gods! The guitar gods, that is. The 60s had Clapton and Hendrix, the 70s had Page and Blackmore, the 80s had Eddie and a slew of gunslingers, now it’s time to christen the guitar gods of the 90s. RE-UP -- Episode 2: Eric Grubbs by Faster Than The World This episode features writer Eric Grubbs, author of the book POST, a look back at post-hardcore in the mid-to-late 90s, and also the host of the DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE podcast. I've been a fan of his writing and by chance found him on Facebook a couple years ago and, to my delight, he was still writing. Definitely a good dude, I find Eric interesting because we both had a similar background in journalism and took a trajectory towards podcasting. He had a very DIY approach when it came to publishing POST, which we get into.
A Sunday podcast chat with (Eric Grubbs)!

Dig Me Out Podcast – Episode 252 – Van Halen In The 90s Round Table
This week we’re kicking off the first of a series in which we revisit the 90s output of a band from the 1980s that was massive popular. For the first “in the 90s” round table, we’re tackling Van Halen, who sold a combined 47 million albums from 1980 to 1988, and enter the 90s with the successful For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge album in 1991 that spawned the gigantic single “Right Here Right Now.”…

Jessie Frye’s Boys’ Club Jessie Frye has balance working in her favor. Her rich voice could easily work in the hands of a dance-pop producer, but she chooses a much more organic, rock-oriented approach.
Welcome to the official home of Eric Grubbs' second book, When We Were the Kids. Keep tabs with this page for more info about the book, which hopefully will be released in 2012.
