Coming right off finishing Ghosts of Onyx as I type this, and I think I can confidently say that the Nylund Trilogy is psychological warfare because it WILL make you care about the Spartans to the point where the last chapter makes you fucking weep because of how powerful an ending it is to this story. I cannot be normal Halo ever fucking again. I get it now.

Did You Know that Halo: Reach's Defiant Map Pack visualized two important locations from Eric Nylund's early Halo novels? Condemned is set aboard Gamma Station, the site where Linda-058 was injured, while Highlands is set in the Spartans' training preserve.

A simple question; but since I already know your feelings on Denning's writing, of which I agree with, what is your favorite depiction of the Master Chief and other Spartans like Fred and Kelly? Me personally, I really like his depiction in the TV Show the most (you might not at all agree with me on that front), with Eric Nylund's Chief being a VERY close second.

My favorite is and always will be Nylund’s. I love his novels and his characterizations. Following that, I really love Halo 4’s version of Chief.

And… I guess The Package for Fred and Kelly for second favorite personifications? Not sure on that one.
