Jessie James Decker Pens Emotional Note to Husband Eric Decker Following Retirement Announcement
When it comes to stressful milestoneās in a personās life, changing careers is near the top of the list. It helps alleviate some of the stress to have someone to lean on, and Eric Decker obviously has that in his country singer, songwriter, entrepreneur and baby mama, Jessie James Decker. In a post on his Instagram page, the former NFL wide receiver announced that he was retiring from football, and one of the reasons he was leaving the sport was to spend more time with wife Jessie and babies Vivianne, Eric āBubbaā, and baby Forrest. You could tell that it was a difficult and emotional decision as Eric wrote, āIt has been my childhood dream and my passion to play the game of football. I was very fortunate and blessed to have had the opportunity to have those dreams fulfilledā¦ā Now his wife, Jessie, has responded to his announcement with her own emotional message. In an Instagram post, she writes, āYesterday was an emotional day. My amazing hubby decided to retire from playing football and I couldnāt be more proud of him and his decision. I cried, smiled and ultimately respected his choice to finish this chapter and start another.ā Jessie went on to explain that the photo that accompanies her note was from the first football season that couple dated and his second as a Denver Bronco. She added, āI loved every minute cheering him on in the stands, meeting amazing friends along the way, bringing our new babies and toddlers to the games as they chanted ādaddy football daddy footballā in the car on the way the stadium each Sunday. From training camps lugging the babies in the wagons and seeing them run to you on the practice field to get that 30 minutes a day to see daddy. I have loved every moment of the last seven years watching my husband kick some serious ass! Itās a career he should be proud of. Canāt wait to share the next adventure with you babe and the amazing things you will do in the future! I love you so much my lover!!!" And it sounds like thereās a possibility Eric may celebrate with a new set of wheels, at least if Jessie has any say in it. Life has been a little crazy for singer-songwriter Jessie James Decker for the past year or so, and it doesnāt appear to be settling down any time soon. Especially now. In a post on his Instagram page, Jessieās husband, NFL wide receiver Eric Decker, announced that he will not be returning to football. Eric, who has played for the Broncos, Jets, and Titans, and was set to play for the Patriots in the upcoming season, shared a poignant post on Instagram sharing that he wanted more time with his family. āIt has been my childhood dream and my passion to play the game of football,ā he wrote. āI was very fortunate and blessed to have had the opportunity to have those dreams fulfilled and to have played with such extremely talented and hard-working teammates, coaches, and staff. This has been a passion inside of me since I was a little boy, but I know now its time to hang my helmet up and start a new chapter in my life.: Eric went on to say āI love football and always will. It will continue to be part of my life. Iām looking forward to spending more time with my wife and kids.ā No other reason was given for the unexpected announcement, nor were any other plans revealed, but the handsome football star frequently shared photos of Jessie and the coupleās children visiting him on the gridiron at practice. Jessie James Decker is adding author to her long list of accomplishments that include singer, songwriter, mother and entrepreneur. The 30-year-old announced in May that she was working on a new lifestyle book, called "Just Jessie," and now the mother of three is revealing the cover of said book. The "Lights Down Low" singer took to Instagram to unveil the new cover that her sitting upon pillows and blankets in the grass surrounded by flowers. "Yāall I am so excited to share the cover of my book āJust Jessieā on sale 10/2! Been working so hard on this for the past year. I know yāall are going to love it!!" "Just Jessie," is expected include Jessie's favorite recipes, beauty tips, love advice, and stories from her life. Also found in the book, 125 personal photographs of Jessie and her family, including a collection taken by Jessie's mother. Jessie James Decker is finding that dropping weight with baby No. 3 is harder this time around than it was with babies 1 and 2. The mom of threeāVivianne Rose, 4, Eric Jr., 2, and Forrest, 3 monthsāgave birth to her third child and second son,Ā Forrest Bradley, on March 31 and she's been sharing her struggle to get back into shape with her fans on Instagram. Jessie took to the social media app to show that even she has a hard time making things work as a mom of three. In the video, Jessie is breastfeeding Forrest after he woke up crying in the midst of her workout. "I will admit this is been the most challenging to see any progress this time around.
