Your opinion on Carmilla (the character) :)
I find her frustrating and a little boring, to be honest. She’s tremendously selfish, and childish for a girl who is over 300 years old... that could be an interesting, but somehow, her sitting around and reading, or siting around and pissing on any attempt to save lives, isn’t that exciting.
And on top of that, or as a complement I guess, is her refusal to take ownership of anything she does. I should be feeling a lot of sympathy for her, but Mattie dies, and it’s WOE IS CARMILLA again, just like it was a few episodes ago when she mopily asked the Carebear herself Laura if she’d care if she died. She refuses to see Laura’s needs, recognize that she did the dumping, deal with how much more fucked up everything is because she refuses to lift a finger to even save herself, or take responsibility for betraying her sister when Laura didn’t even ask for a way to kill Mattie. And to this point, the characters only seem to want to deal with Laura’s faults, so I don’t know that Carmilla will ever evolve any further than the favored spoiled child of a vampire cultist.
I was hoping for some character growth this season, and instead I got mold. And I want Mattie back.
