Promising but maladroit young tech genius Richard Hendricks finds out his arch-rival, Gavin Belson, a petty, vindictive, scheming billionaire who has tried to destroy him more than once holds the patent that would make his dream project come true.

So of course, like any normal person, he ventures out, in the dead of night, to pay a visit to said powerful arch-rival's big dark castle in Romania... ahem... his humongous mansion in Silicon Valley.  

Oh, have I mentioned that our techie has also lost one of his sneakers in the process, and is walking into Drac... Gavin's driveway with a mismatched pair of shoes?

Little Red Ridden Hoodie walks up to Big Bad Belson's front door, and of course it's decorated with the haut-relief of a lion ("in repose", as Jared would put it). 

The Wolf himself answers the door, all glistening dark eyes, motions him in with a raised eyebrow and a countenance that says: "Well, DO come in, my damsel in distress - but at your own peril."

And I mean, in comes Twinklarella, lowering his hoodie and coquettishly fluffing out his ginger curls, as he blushingly glances with his big blue doe-eyes at the very same CEO who promised him during a heated phone call that he would BEND HIM OVER HIS DESK AND F*CK HIM SO HARD... 

Now, tell me, in all seriousness, with such lore (both internal and referencing classic narratives like Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Dracula), how is one not supposed to immediately launch a thousand ships for these two?!!

Born in Texas

Moved to California when he was twelve

Has a half brother 20 years younger than him

Likes his stepdad better than his biological dad

Both his stepdad and his mom smoke weed

Was a Tractor/Monster Truck Kid

Liked the idea of dinosaurs as a kid but was terrified of them coming back to life and eating him (he saw Jurassic Park a bit too early)

Really close with his younger cousins

Wore only neon all throughout elementary

Theatre kid in middle school, always got the lead role and wanted to be an actor when he grew up

When he got to high school he came to the crushing realisation that he wasn't that good, he was just his middle school theatre teacher's favourite

Had a crush on the high school librarian and made up a story about how they were dating because he thought it made him sound cool

She found out and he was not allowed in the library for the rest of his high school career

Was a debate kid and an academic decathlon kid

After Silicon Valley:

Contrary to popular belief he did Not die

His five year stay at the inn in Nepal ended after three years when the innkeeper and his wife kicked Erlich out for leaving his drug stash too close to the fireplace, causing....results

He wandered for months, soon becoming lost in the wilderness

While foraging in the forest he happened upon a grove of what looked like cannabis

Managed to harvest some and find his way back to civilisation

Accidentally discovered a new species of cannabis that took less time to grow and provided an even more pleasant high

Went public with his discovery, and suspiciously Gavin Belson was able to locate him within days

Gavin made an investment and a deal was struck

No one is aware of this deal except them
