Headcanon 002

Cara is constantly troubled by the possibility of schizophrenia taking hold and dominating her life. However, she has not been tested, because if it comes back positive, she fears something of a nocebo effect and lifelong paranoia. She is especially on edge now that she is entering the second trimester of her (phantom) pregnancy. She often stays up and tries to decide if she would rather her baby be schizophrenic, sociopathic, or have an ‘addictive personality’ and become hooked on a substance like her father did. This feeling of helplessness has led her into the library on multiple occasions, searching for answers in books about religion.

Leah wasn’t even told she was going to Ernest. Her parents simply told her driver that instead of bringing her home, she was to go to the rehabilitation centre. That resentment is still within her and encourages her to behave even worse to spite her parents.

Headcanon 001

When Cara was younger, a doctor suspected that she had a mild form of Aspergers because of her difficulty making friends and talking to other people. This was actually caused by a feeling of rejection, and lasted only a short time. It was clear to everyone that she did not have the syndrome after she began to branch out more and showed that she was very expressive in almost every way. However, her father never let the obvious misjudgment go and would sometimes call her 'Aspergers' to get under her skin.
