Erró‘s giant mural ftrc.blog/parque-das-nacoes/ Lisbon's eastern edge was once a landscape of factories and industry. But that all changed when the vibrant Parque das Nações burst onto the scene! This formerly industrial area was completely transformed for the 1998 World Fair – also known as Expo '98, and some locals still call it by that name. Today, it's a spectacular district of elegant, stylish architecture – a nod to the past with nods to the future. I was there for a few days in May 2022 for a design conference and decided to use my free time to explore everything Parque das Nações offers.
