Dunlewey Church in Donegal sits at the foot of Errigal, the county’s highest point at 751m, built in the middle of the 19th century the church has been ruined for over 50 years.
Some say it’s haunted but on the day that I visited here there was little but the sounds of nature to be heard and seen.
It’s certainly one of Ireland’s most scenic and romantic ruins, out of a choice of many.
