Comic Sneak Peek

Still working on "Deviancy". In a very rare moment, here's the work-in-progress cover, which looks very similar to the original cover I did. I can't get over the fact that the invert color of cool black is a yellowish off-white. But I'm pretty sure once I get the dark background color on, it will look less weird.

Was originally gonna go with yellow strings, but I'm gonna switch to neon green since there's way too much yellow.

Comic sneak peek

For those of you who have been following this blog for some time, you already know my plans to retcon the “Deviancy” chapter (aka, the Nib!Mettaton vs ErrorTale!Mettaton chapter).

I’m still working on the thumbnails for the pages, but I have a rough sketch of the cover done. It’s actually very similar to the original cover I did, but I went a little crazy with the finger strings this time around.

Okay, maybe a whole lot crazy. XD

Speaking of finger strings... what color do you think ErrorTale!Mettaton’s strings would be? Default Blue, Green (inverse color of pink), or something else entirely?

Comic Sneak Peek

So, back in late April, I shared a WIP of the cover for the retcon of Deviancy, which included an image of Errortale!Metatton.

The design I used for Errortale!Mettaton was based off of prettypeepers’s design, where they inverted colors (so cool black became off-white yellow, hot pink became lime green, cool grey became orange brown).

I finished the coloring the cover. That being said, I thought it would be fun to show the cover (left) next to a copy with inverted colors (right). I know that inverting Errortale!Mettaton’s design would give a normal-looking Mettaton, but it still comes off as slightly creepy (which I guess is a good thing in this case).
