And there goes another story finished. :)

Inktale-Mettaton is also based on KuranaMinamino’s (deviantART) concept and design. That being said, the physical depiction of said character is based off of a common design whose origin started in 2016. (KuranaMinamino’s design came out in 2017. I couldn’t figure out who came up with the original 2016 design since some artists had their accounts deactivated and the information isn’t cached anywhere).
KuranaMinamino’s had described her Inktale-Mettaton variant as someone who want to inspire others (even if that aspiration is unhealthy or destructive) while enjoying picking on others and seeing their reactions. In other words: while he has good intentions, he kind of a jerkwad.
Like with Errortale-Mettaton, I also plan on bringing back Inktale-Mettaton for future comics. (Spoilers for the next comic: let’s just say his past is embroiled in something that’s pretty... dark).
Before anyone asks, Pennie and King-MTT’s dialogue is indeed a veiled reference to when people go to content creators (artist, crafter, videomaker, etc) and tell them what to do (example: when someone goes to a creator and says stuff like “do _”, or “you should do _”, or “make _”). Because while we already know it’s bad when someone dishes out unfounded or inadequate criticism, it’s also important to realize that content creators are people, too, with their own personal visions, as well as personal lives. Suggestions and feedback can helpful, but make sure to not turn it into a command/order/attack. And be reasonable and understanding when artists might say “no” to it, they may have their own reasons as to why.
