Well.. So I decided to make two more predator dolls! This time these are two twins - Eri and Erud, inhabitants of the north of the Earth, stern and lonely comrades, very devoted to each other.
They also decide the fate of Snow from @wolfsnowphoenix
The woman came to Gingloa at the head of an army, riding atop a gergedat under the banner of House Agares. Though the majority of the army r
Fun fact about this little story: it was going to serve as the prelude to a longer story, in which after outlawing slavery and putting down House Valac's little uprising in response Denika Agares I raises a prominent local family to noble House status and then returns to the capital with their daughter to secure a political marriage to give them a foot in the door. The main bulk of the story would have been split between the daughter, Fa Mim, learning to navigate the world of Garacani nobility, and a growing unrest among the Garacani upper class over suddenly having to treat their Hahn Gar laborers like people and seeing one of them hobnobbing with the upper crust like some kinda bigshot, until they have to put down another god damn dickhead uprising.
Then I got burned out on Gondolend in general, so I put the whole setting on indefinite hiatus and this story will probably not be told in full any time soon. I still wanted to explore ancient Garacani society though, so I decided to reuse a lot of the ideas I'd come up with for it for the Empire of Matuwali in my Erud setting.
Andreas: "I'll confiscate the coffee machine-"
Erud: "NOOOO IT'S MY LIFE!"
Day 39 started with me discovering the library. This should be good right? Eruidin was all about knowledge right? After all, on the wall of the Library was a quote from the founder of Erudin himself that read, “...for knowledge is the greatest quest of all.”
Well, there were NO BOOKS in that library. Like, not ONE SHELF.
It was very disappointing, especially after reading that inspiring quote. I was all ready to quest for knowledge and everything. I had to warn my friends. “There are zero books in this library...”
“Odd,” Triisu said, “No beds in this inn.”
WHAT?!
Some new Yautja and a couple of sketches with others ^^
Militant is the eldest son of the Black Trooper and it is a great pride for him to be an exemplary hunter for others
Marine Predator is an elite naval soldier who is Sirena's loyal partner and is secretly in love with her.
Gul'mira is a sweet and kind Yautja who is an old friend of Zahra :3

You may have noticed that I named several of Erud's landmasses after fictional "lost continents"; namely Atlantis, Lemuria, and Mu. I partly did this as a nod to Robert E. Howard's Hyborian Age, which also had them as real (though lost by the time of the setting) places, and partly because I just find the idea of lost continents to be interesting even though all the racist pseudoscience and mysticism that has sprung up around them is total bullshit and will not be making any appearances here. (Well, there might be some supernatural stuff...this is a fantasy setting after all.)
So, because of that, I have decided that Erud's version of Madagascar is called Lemuria. And as Erud's version of Madagascar, it is home to animals that lived on Madagascar in the distant past. Animals like:
Masiakasaurus
Beelzebufo
Simosuchus
Majungasaurus
Rapetosaurus
Elephant birds
...And, of course, lemurs. In fact, the island is home to a species of lemur that has evolved humanlike intelligence and developed a stone age level culture. Though they mostly avoid the human settlers to the island there is some trade between the two groups, with the lemur-people especially keen on getting their hands on the humans' fancy iron tools and weapons. (They're mainly herbivores and not particularly aggressive, but you saw that Majungasaurus up there. They'd still want to defend themselves.)
You might be wondering "Hey, you dumb lazy idiot asshole, why aren't you posting on this blog? I thought you were working on fleshing out this dumb world for your dumb story!"
Well, first of all, that's very rude, you should try to be more civil. Words can hurt.
And second, I have been working on building Erud...just not online.
I'm doing this shit oldschool, with a journal. My handwriting is atrocious. I do not care. I'm writing ideas. I'm not sure how I feel about that pen. It's going to get messy.
