Beginning my Witchcraft Journey
Hello friends! I’ve created this blog to find, share, and openly discuss all things witchy! I’m quite new in the witch world, and have been seeking a platform where I can learn more about all kinds of witchcraft. I don’t yet know which sect of witchcraft I will fall into, and want to educate myself on all before I decide my path (or rather I find my path). I am always open to advice or shared knowledge from all people in the witchcraft/Wicca/Pagan community.
My biggest struggle has been finding the best place to start. There is an incredible amount of information out here on Paganism/Witchcraft, and I want to make sure I fully understand the fundamentals before diving further. If any of my fellow witches have any advise, or can recommend texts and learning materials for beginner witches, I am all ears!
At this time, I do not belong to a coven, nor do I have any Pagan friends or family. Sometimes I do feel that I am at a disadvantage due to the fact that I am a ‘solitary witch’. At the same time, it’s nice to start with a blank slate and have a true opportunity to develop on my path with a totally open mind!
I’ve admired witchcraft from afar for many years and feel that now is as good a time as any to really delve into the craft and begin my witchcraft journey!
I feel that it’s worth noting that I truly am a novice in the witch world. I strive to educate myself with true facts, and to not cause offense to anyone (as hard as that may be in our current world). If you feel that something I post is incorrect or offensive, please take this as a learning opportunity so that I can better myself!
I’m looking forward to meeting witchy friends and learning as much as I can about this incredibly vast craft!
