It would be too early to decide but I would rather have the bunker leaders be Kane, Abby, and Indra over Octaylo based on what we have been seeing via s5 bts.

I didn't ship Clarke with Roan until 4x08 to be honest. That was when I felt some sparks between them and now I feel like trash to the point where I'm developing a fic for them. It's a shame that it never quite took off.

Everyone comes to shipping at different points! I can totally get not shipping Clarke and Roan until later in their relationship, yeah, but goddamn how much potential did they have, huh? We all need to write loads of fic for the ship that could have been

The reason certain BC shippers stan Octaylo despite her mistreatment of PoC characters and her white saviorism is because she's a MAIN white character. Correct if I'm wrong but that's my take.

I would go so far as to say it’s actually much simpler than that. Marie (and therefore Octanakin) is very pretty and fit. She also has a tragic backstory and has someone in her life who would do anything to save her (Bellamy). That’s basically all it takes for someone to find sympathy for a white character who is essentially a villain

Using Lxa's name to manipulate Indra into sharing the bunker with a enemy clan (who might have been responsible for the death of Indra's husband/lover and Gaia's father) was a low blow on Clarke's part in my opinion. Not saying there should have been a war with the death wave coming but if I was being manipulated via the mention of a former monarch to share a bunker with my mortal enemy, I would have been pissed as well.

Clarke has always been very manipulative, so I find myself unsurprised by almost anything that she does anymore. Mostly just....disappointed.
