Erwin:
Fuck, this is hard to write…
I really like your coffee

I love you, Erwin Smith. I love you so much I think I might die from it (hah, die. Get it?)
I wish I had told you that more often.
I love you
I love you
I love you
I love you
I love you…
I love your coffee; you know I do. I love your smile. I love the way your voice sounds all rough and grumbly when you just woke up. I love all your scars (yes, even that one), because it shows me how much you’ve lived. I love the way you treat your employees, with kindness and respect. I love that you speak to me in a bunch of languages, even if I don’t understand what you’re saying most of the time. I love the times when we sit on the couch and just make out, and there’s no sex involved, just… kissing. I love the fact that you bring me breakfast in bed. I love the way you are a beast in bed, then you always ask afterward if I’m okay. I love that you let me clean your place from top to bottom, even if you think it’s stupid. I love the notes you leave with my coffee.
I love the fact that you are still kind and gentle when you have every single right to hate the world.
And you love me, for some weird, unfathomable reason. You love me even after learning about my fucked up past. And I love you for that.
I love you so, so much…
Whatever happens, after I’m gone, please remember that. I don’t know how this dying thing works; but if I become a ghost or some lame shit like that I’ll be haunting you until you die.
And then, I’ll be waiting, until you come back to me. My angel. Ew, that sounds so corny. I mean, you’ll probably go to heaven, and I’m pretty sure I’m going to hell, but still. I’ll wait, and I’ll hope.
I’ll love you. Even as the fires of hell burn me. Remember that once you get your wings and that gay ass halo.
This is it. The nurse wants his pen back. Farewell, my love.
Always and forever yours,
—Levi.

"Because you are a unique and amazing character, Levi.. And you don’t deserve to be stuck with an old fool like me."
"Here we go again.... Erwin Smith, I chose you, you, of all people, as the most important person in my life. Do you doubt my judgement that much, old man?"
Melodious Nocturne [Rico - Erwin]
It all a started in a normal Thursday afternoon. Rico had just finished her Intermediate Human Anatomy class, and she was walking the side-roads of Trost, pacing slightly faster because dark clouds have begun to hang over the sky, a warning that it was going to rain soon. She had forgotten her umbrella at home, and she certainly didn't fancy being caught in the rain, and having to return home all wet.
She was racing her way through the array of shops, when suddenly she heard a melody playing. Her feet slowed down gradually until she came to a complete stop. She turned her head slowly and stared at the open window of a music shop, where the sound was coming from. It was the sound of a piano. She recognized the song. Beethoven Piano Sonata No. 8, Pathetique. A very nostalgic sound, she hadn't heard it from a long time, not since she was little, probably around 6 years old.
She approached the open window. Her heart suddenly beat faster and her blood rushed from her sudden excitement. She peeked inside and saw a tall man with sleek golden-blonde hair in front of the piano. His hands moved gracefully as he played the melodies. Who is this man? He played so beautifully. For a while she found herself completely enchanted by the song. Her mind wandered to her past, before all of this bullshit about parents came to invade her life.
The last note from the song hung across the air, then slowly disappeared. She heaved a deep sigh. She was moved with the song - way beyond words. Before she realized, she had opened her mouth and spoken.
"You play so beautifully," she said to the blond man in front of the piano.
Note on Coffee Cup [Erwin]
“Move, you useless asshole” Levi begs, thrusting up to get as much friction as he can against Erwin’s hip. He digs his nails into his lover’s shoulders, hoping the pain will make him take action “Mooooove!” When he doesn’t, he slaps Erwin’s hands aside to do the job himself, politeness be damned.
He smiled as he met his target, kissing Levi’s hardness through the restraints of his jeans. “Take these off.” His voice was husky with want, eager to make Levi squirm.
The touches are gentle, far too gentle, and they set Levi’s skin on fire. Erwin’s hands are sure and confident as they undress him lovingly, and Levi gives up trying to get his boyfriend’s pants off. Levi can barely get his t-shirt off and throw it somewhere across the room, hands eager to touch Erwin. But once his torso is uncovered he slumps against the couch, letting himself be admired. It’s both frightening and exhilarating, the way Erwin seems to devour him with his eyes, like standing at the edge of a cliff on tiptoe, waiting for the moment your feet leave the ground. Levi turns his head away, somewhat abashedly; even after all these months he still doesn’t get used to someone worshipping him like that.
The movements stop and Erwin says the words. Levi looks at him, because while Levi always says them at night, when they’re alone, Erwin has a tendency to say them whenever he pleases, catching him off guard. Levi opens his mouth but the words just won’t come out, lodged in his throat. But Erwin knows; Levi makes sure he knows with tiny gestures here and there. He grabs Erwin’s neck roughly and smashes their mouths together, the kiss deep and passionate, with more than just a hint of teeth. He hopes Erwin sees it for what it is: Levi’s own ‘I love you too’.
erwinsama has passed away...
The alcohol does nothing.
Levi tosses the empty bottle of vodka with a weak arm. It barely flies in the air before it falls on the tile, mocking Levi by not even having the decency to shatter. Alcohol is supposed to soothe all wounds, to make it better; but it just makes the grief all that much intense. He should be dead, from all this pain. He curls up in on himself and just breathes, in, out, whoosh…
There was no dramatic climax; no foreshadowing, or even a throwaway line of dialogue. There was no atmospheric lighting or sad piano music. It was all very mundane, at SLegion, when Levi was told Erwin Smith has been found, we need someone to identify the body, and can you please give us a call? He had enough presence of mind to nod agreeably and cooperate with everything the police officer wanted, to send the baristas on shift home. No one said anything; no words of comfort or empty apologies. Levi is thankful for that. He wouldn’t have been able to take it.
He doesn’t know how he ended up in his tiny, dark apartment, but he is glad for the privacy. Levi’s been at Erwin’s place for so long—sleeping in Erwin’s bed, wearing Erwin’s shirts, reading Erwin’s books, using Erwin’s shower—that the apartment feels alien and foreign to him. The curtains are closed, the air stale because he hasn’t opened the windows to air the space out. This isn’t his home. Home is where Erwin is.
Erwin is on a slab somewhere, being dissected.
Levi lets out a humorless laugh, raising his head enough to take in the musty air. Of course Erwin left first; he was always needlessly cruel like that. He never really thought about what Levi wanted—he just thought he did. And of course, Levi let him. He wants to hate him for that; he wants to hate his lover for daring to die on him, for taking the only real source of true happiness Levi ever had. He died, and now Levi is lost and cold and alone. He feels his heart beat steadily, despite all the odds. Thump. Thump. Thump.
Levi considered it, in the privacy only darkness can afford. Ending it. Dying wouldn’t be of use, because of course Erwin would go to heaven in a blaze of glory; an angel tragically taken from us too soon, that short of bullshit. The man always liked to make things hard for Levi, the asshole.
And besides, Levi has been nothing but a survivor. If Erwin was a self-sacrificial jerk then Levi is too stubborn. Hamartia. Levi knows he will heal, eventually. That his grief will soon dry up and he will walk, one day, even if his compass is gone.
The thought should comfort him, but all it does is exacerbate how lonely he is. He falls sideways on the tile and closes his eyes.
Flirting | Armin's Ranting | Open RP
They were doing it again. Eye fucking. Armin swore they did that anytime either of them were in the same area of the cafe together. They probably would be naked on that damn couch by now. Armin usually didn't mind the eye contact, especially in this hilarious situation. By now everything was pretty much slowed down and Armin was good to work two areas by himself. Ymir had already left for her break as well as the extra staff.
But now there was entertainment for Armin. Really good entertainment. His eyes widened a bit from the sudden bold move Erwin decided to make. His eyebrows shot up in shock and in slight amusement. If only Ymir stayed and saw this. He startled even more when he heard couch guy start laughing. He didn't know he could display any other emotions besides disinterest, pissed off, or you better fucking run. He smirked slightly at the obvious flirting after his initial shock wore off. It was a good thing Erwin was so distracted or he might've smited the blond.
Armin noticed how restless and tense Levi was as he made his way over to him. He looked away innocently and whistled a bit at Levi's greeting. "I wasn't going to say anything all. Not at all. Nope." He smirked lightly at Levi's blush.I was just a tad bit noticeable and obvious from where Armin was standing. Why was he the only one witnessing this pure gold?
The blond frowned a bit from Levi's comment towards him before trying to make himself look busy so Erwin wouldn't say anything. He started wiping the counters of the bar and stole small glances at the two men. He smiled a bit at them. They were kind of cute. For two old grumpy men.
