New character redesigns for Fires of the North. Well, you've already seen Esaiah in my drawing for pride month. XD But this is the first time I've showed my official redesign for Periwinkle. And yes, this is from that teaser thingie I posted earlier. I really wanted Periwinkle's human heritage to be more clear in her design. She was always supposed to be half black, but I didn't think she really looked the part. I love her new hair! Esaiah-As you can see, Esaiah is an elf. In the Fires of the North world, elves are some of the richest creatures on the continent. They are an ancient race but unfortunately their strive for perfection has caused their numbers to drop dramatically. Once a powerful and respected race, all they have now is riches and their infamous pride. Esaiah himself is a rather gentle elf. He lives alone in his family's mansion and is a little secluded from the rest of his race. He's one of the few elves who sees the truth, that despite what they think elves are in fact not better than the other races and that all their former glory has been lost. He wants to make a change but is unsure of what he alone can do. Esaiah is a friend of Marrim the hunter Periwinkle-She is a rare half-elf and cousin of Esaiah. Her father was banished by the other elves for falling in love with a human, and Periwinkle was born while her parents were in hiding. They died mysteriously when Periwinkle was still a child, and she was taken in by a band of outlaws. She grew up with them and sees them as her family. Esaiah is the only family member from her father's side she has contact with. Esaiah really cares about Periwinkle and worries a lot about her safety.Because of her elven heritage Periwinkle is a little more fragile than the outlaws but she learned to be quick and smart instead.
