♦ — To say he was worried was the understatement of the decade. It had been around two weeks since he last heard from Levi. They had plans to meet and the mans apartment. He had just stopped on his way home to pick something up, at least that’s what Armin had been told. Yet he never showed. He stayed the entire night, hoping something would come up, a text, anything. Yet there was nothing. Soon enough a day passed, then a week, and now they were on week two without a word from the dark haired man. Horrible thoughts swam through his head, causing him to clutch at his stomach and hope they weren’t true. Everyone had tried to assure him that Levi was probably safe, but they were starting to sound unsure anymore.
♦ — Dark and stormy, and just as well his Grandfather out of town that night proved to be one of the worst without Levi around. Normally they would sit around and cuddle on these nights. Spend time together and watch movies. All he got, however, was a cold bed and a pillow clutched to his chest, trying to pretend it was his lover.
♦ — Suddenly a loud knock could be heard from the door, and had he been a cat in a cartoon he’d have been stuck to the ceiling. Who in the hell was crazy enough to be out in this storm? Maybe Eren was having car troubles again. Actually, Armin was sure that’s exactly who it was, though he hoped to see a certain undercut wearing raven haired man at his door. Sighing the kid stood and made his way down the stairs and slowly to the door. With one tug it was open.
“Eren, what did you do to-”
♦ — Words caught in his throat as he caught sight of Levi. He was there, after having been missing for two weeks. His blue eyes filled with tears as a hand shot to his mouth.
Oh thank god he’s safe… But… he looks different.. His eyes… they are glowing.. and.. red?!
🔪 — Two weeks ago, the only thing in the world that Principal Ackerman was really worried about was his plans with his boyfriend, who happened to be a student of his as well, and the fact that they would be meeting at his apartment that evening to spend some time together. He’d just needed to pick up a couple movies from the local rental place, to give them something to watch while they curled up on the sofa together - it was all so simple, so easy, just like things had usually been with Armin. Despite the bumps in the road, the circumstances that had brought them together and the fact that they had to hide it from everyone, their relationship had been smooth, easy. Life was, at last, looking up for Levi again, and he couldn’t have been happier about that.
🔪 — But nothing in his life could ever stay easy, now could it? Something always had to go wrong for him. Of course, usually when things went wrong, it was something that he could fix, or at least buffer and make better. In this case, there was very little he could actually do about the situation... After all, just what were you supposed to do about becoming a vampire?
🔪 — The first week had been a haze of blood-lust and confusion, and honestly, he didn’t remember most of that first week now. By the second, things felt clearer, or at least they were starting to get that way, though he was certain that could be attributed to the unsuspecting girl he’d drained a couple evenings before arriving on Armin’s doorstep. He should have felt guilty about it, and somewhere in his subconscious, he honestly did, but right now, all he could really think about was finding Armin, making sure that the blonde had been alright during his lover’s absence. Besides, if anyone in the world deserved an explanation for Levi’s sudden disappearance, it was the shocked blonde who had just opened the door...
🔪 — As soon as the tears started, Levi took a step closer, shaking off an inhumanely cold hand that was wet from the storm before reaching out to gently swipe the tears from his student’s face. It was an effort, in all honesty, to keep his movements at a human speed, but he was managing it for right now. Of course, that didn’t change the fact that he was so obviously not the same as he had been before the disappearance. Glowing red eyes filled with concern for the boy, and when the Principal sighed, his newfound fangs glinted in the dim porch lights.
“Yes, Armin, it’s me...
Is your grandfather home?”
🔪 — As soon as he had confirmation that they were alone, another sigh left the vampire - this one in relief. At the very least, he would have time to explain what was going onto his partner... well, what little he actually knew of what was gong on, that is. What had happened to make him this way, it was all pretty foggy, and trying to delve up the memories of that night gave him the worst migraine.
“Then lets get inside...
This obviously isn’t a conversation for the front porch.”
