Yes, he was only supposed to be handing out supplies and food, but there were a few people Jon was keeping an eye out for. People he considered friends, or people around his age. He knew other kids didn’t have powers like his. 

Of course, finding people was hard without his Super Good Eyesight. Boy did he miss having his powers. Seeing in the dark, and through such a storm would be a piece of cake under normal circumstances. And he wouldn’t be worried about the storm overhead either. He eventually found the person he was looking for, Ciel. He dropped down in front of him.

“Ciel! Thank Rao you’re ok! You are ok right? I’m here to help! You, specifically. It’s dangerous out here. I know a few good safe spots though, I can escort you there!”

“You look oh so lost,” Ardyn says, a wide grin on his face. “And so very, very young. Are your parents not wondering where you are?”

“Do you think they’ll let you drive a go-kart if you’re not allowed to have a driver’s license?” Lazarus is speaking half to himself, but really, it’s free game to the people around. He doesn’t speak out loud without understanding the consequences of being overheard by someone. Should the world have an opinion about his way of life, so be it.

Really, it makes sense that Lazarus can’t drive. Too many complications, too many risks. Taking a lot longer to get there is something he accepted some time ago, unwilling to dwell on it for longer than necessary. Nevertheless, the temptation to drive something, even a little motored car for fun, sounds very appealing. 

“You think I can get away with lying to that guy? He won’t know but like, sometimes people just know. That’ll be weird if I get sussed out.”

“This is going to be fun,” Ardyn insists, though he has not yet told Ciel what he’s bringing him to do. This entire festival is quite fun; he’d already met a lot of people who were both amused and irritated by Ardyn’s antics. Ciel seemed to fall into the latter category.

“Here we are,” Ardyn grins, motioning to the game in front of them. Big letters read ‘Babie Town Life’, and Ardyn turns to Ciel. “You’ve never played a video game before, have you?”

☽☾ ⋯ An egg hunt was a strange tradition, yet as Leian held one in her hand, shaking it lightly, she couldn’t help but wonder just what was inside. Or who this event was even for, for that matter; it seemed childish to be hunting for egg shaped presents, after all. Pink and round with flowers dotting its shell, something soft moved inside without a rattle.

She was curious but… there were far too many crowds for her comfort. So, she offers it to a child stood nearby, loitering like most of the folks seemed to be. “This is better suited for someone young, isn’t it? Please enjoy it, young man.”

Mello is dressed, as one is, appropriately for the weather. Or at the very least what he thinks is appropriate, with his leather crop top and rosary hanging down to the center of his chest. His leather pants are tight and his boots stop right below his knee, and to complete the look he has his sunglasses covering his eyes.

He nurses a coffee in one hand and holds a chocolate bar in another, content to mind his own business until he comes across a small child, sitting at one of the outdoor tables. He looks utterly confused as he stares at his city-issued cell phone, which in turn slightly amuses Mello.

“Hey,” he says, unable to stop himself. He grins, just a little, and motions to the cell with the hand holding the chocolate. “That’s a shitty selfie you’re going to take if you keep pouting.”
