THE ASCENT

As 2025 draws to a close, I could think of nothing more appropriate for a subject than a demon crawling her way out of hell’s fiery pits. She breaks her chains and raises her burnt hand in agonizing victory.

Though the light at the cave’s maw holds no promise of heaven and marks no end, still, she takes a moment to celebrate that which was left behind, never to be gone through again. It is *over*.

Ever onward, where new horrors surely await, 2026.

More of these works I've done for the museum. They were done in 2022 and 2023 but I delayed posting them because I thought they were maybe hard to understand for foreigners. After all they do require lots of context but so as not to spam you all I'm open to answer questions, do enjoy the art regardless!
