6 months I have been thinking abt Seam
One of the things I love most in life is cross ship FICS ,mind you I don't mean crossovers ,it's like
When a certain ship is put in the dynamic/plotline of ANOTHER ship
It's like an upgraded version of the notion of "loving to see the same pair fall in love in the same effing way" into "loving to see different pairs I love falling in love in the exact same way"
Like, Persephone and Hades AUs , Hogwarts AUs and other top grade popular stuff aside, I just adore it
Like once ,in a fic a pair of certain vigilantes had the same square dynamic of a certain pair of superheroes (my favorite corner was still,and would always be ,the same)
Or when a certain pair (with shippers enough to uphold a fandom) are portrayed as another certain pair from a certain popular old show that we could all swear are freaking canon.
There are not many examples, but when I come across them it's such a delight!!
