I want everyone to know that it was Rhett's idea to have Link's leg around his waist
" This is how friends ride horses. One friend is on the horse the other friend on the friend" -R
I'm sorry for doing these disappearance acts. I've completely lost control over my time management. But I just watched the vlog R&L do for the Mythical Society members, and although I can't really say anything specific, I think Link is going slowly insane in the quarantine. (I'm not 100 percent serious, but he seems a little wound up.) He seriously needs a hug, because he's slowly turning into a creature living in captivity, all antsy and agitated. Times are tough for all of us.
Well that was a vlog and a half.
could I please request some headcanons for lavi and link with their sick s/o's? taking care of them?
Lavi probably knows some home remedies and such to help with the illness. Some he’s heard in passing, others come straight from Bookman himself.
Not to mention the fact that he’s probably read about the illness before. He remembers everything.
If he isn’t familiar with it, he’ll do some reading up on the subject, a book balancing on his knee while he replaces your cool rag and getting you whatever you need.
He’s not really worried if you’re safe at home. Not unless the symptoms persist for a while.
He’ll joke around, play-whine about how he misses cuddling you but don’t you dare get him sick. He’s only playing, though. He just wants to cheer you up.
Worst case scenario, he’ll turn to Bookman and ask for his advice, risking the possibility that the old panda’s gonna hit him over the head because the answer should be obvious and Lavi’s just missing it.
Link is also very levelheaded and calm about it. He’s helped people with sicknesses before, and he’s knowledgeable about a lot of illnesses.
Believe me when I say that you’re in very capable hands. Probably the best hands, actually.
He’ll cook you things to make sure you’re eating, and is very meticulous about your treatment. He changes your cool rag every hour on the hour, he has a schedule of when you should eat and when you should take your medicine.
He might sound a little nagging while he’s taking care of you, and will make you do stuff when you really don’t want to, but if you do as he says, you’ll be better in no time.
Link might put the bulk of his work on hold to keep an eye on you. Mostly just signing paperwork and doing light reading. He stays in the same room as you to keep an eye on you.
Despite his occasional nagging when you don’t listen, he’s really soft when you’re sick. You could make any request right now and he’ll promise to fulfill it eventually (if you ask him for a huge cake, for example, he won’t make it until you’re better–”It’ll give you something to work towards,” he says.)
They look like a happy gay couple.

I've come to the realization that watching rhett and link since I was 12 has influenced who I am and my gender identity
