I love how every character in Star Trek seems to subscribe to the “if I’m killed that’s fine but I will face god and walk backwards into hell if one of my crew mates gets so much as a broken rib” mentality

Don't mind me. Just imagining the bridge crew of the Enterprise is on sleep shift when a red alert goes off so they all stumble into place in pajamas with messy hair and tired eyes. They all look at each other like ???! for a second before they can even start addressing the situation
