I'm still so pissed off at the Odyssey movie and how people online are brushing off criticism from other greek people who are unhappy with the cast, direction, and historical inaccuracies the movie had

#people who claim that 'this is fiction it's not real' to defend the casting choices are actually racist towards greek people #but I don't think they're ready to hear that #no problem with Lupita as an actress but just like Zendaya and Tom Holland (and everyone in the movie) she just shouldn't have been cast #i'm so upset #this sucks #greek mythology is fiction yes but people actually believed that. this is something that real or not is an important part of greek culture #so weird. it's so weird #white Americans making it about representation and how it's ok while completely ignoring actual greek people yay #whatever #i #I need to talk about this movie and I only have the worst things to say #the movie was ok actually.
