Espressini artisan coffee shop, Falmouth, simply the best in town.
Let’s talk about this cute little cafe I discovered with Lally called Espressini Garden Cafe..
See, I think I’m on a quest to find the cutest cafe around the area that is/has:
1. Good ambiance 2. Conducive for studying or chilling with friends 3. Good food 4. Reliable wifi 5. Late closing time (for studying purposes)
Ever since I started with second year med, for some reason I can’t seem to find myself being productive at my dorm anymore. I either sleep or unnecessarily clean my things and/or room. I tried staying at the school’s library but after a few times, I got tired of it, too. So far I’ve discovered many good cafes around Dasma namely Sambros Café, Kaffeine Cafe and Espresso Lab, and the latest on my list is Espressini Garden Cafe. I haven’t found any 24 hour cafe around Dasma that also suits my standards but I’d like to believe there are more hidden gems around here in Cavite. I have yet to explore Imus and Bacoor area but it’s too far and since I usually go out alone, it might actually be a threat to my safety (even if I keep assuring myself I can handle anything lol).
If you guys know any 24 hour or “indie” cafe around Dasma, please let me know! I’d highly appreciate it.

Another spread from another magazine proposal. Short story on Espressini, Falmouth. What the coffee shop has to offer, the team and unique vintage decor on show.
Use of ‘placeholder text’.
Been fun experimenting with backgrounds and layouts.
5 Picture Story. Espressini.
I am a big fan and am very often in ‘Espressini’ in Falmouth. With a personal interest into an ever growing national ‘coffee culture’ I would be stupid to not continue to take images in the coffee shop and document my times there.
Whereas I may have had other plans for a 5 Picture Story before, this one has fallen into my lap and is a story right on my doorstep.
Shoot 1 - The Relationship - Espressini
After looking at Espressini’s website and their various accounts on social media I felt that the best way to contact them regarding carrying out a shoot, would be to email. This proved to be successful as they replied very quickly and I arranged to go in to discuss more specifically what I intended to do. After I went in and discussed what I wanted to take photos of I arranged another time to visit when I could spend longer there at a time where it was also daylight. Before leaving I took a few photos of two women that were seated in the window table with a misty, window behind them. As it was early evening it was quite dark outside and so the photos are heavily light with the indoor lighting which has made the subjects quite warm but slightly unnatural looking. Despite this I feel the composition and subject matter works well and so have included them in my contact sheets.
Shoot 1 - The Relationship - Espressini
For my first shoot of the relationship project I have decided to explore the relationship over coffee in one of the local specialist coffee shops, Espressini. I have identified Espressini out of all the possible options due to the atmosphere and interior. The shop often has groups of people from all ages having a drink whilst in a discussion which I feel along with the wooden, authentic feel to the interior will provide some great relationship photos.
