What should I do..?

Today I went to a COFFEE HOUSE (r) after work and had a delicious milkshake. One would normally have some reservations about drinking a luke-warm milkshake, but... when you combine a shot of freshly made espresso with a vanilla milkshake, you can't help but to get a luke-warm beverage... All I have to say is that it was GOOD!

While enjoying my shake, I began to ponder about a question that's been bothering me for some time now...

A while back I decided to attend a "special event," which isn't that strange for me. The thing is: I'm practically broke. I was only able to afford the event ticket and nothing else. The ticket itself is non-refundable, so my money is lost whatever I decide, but I've been thinking that maybe I should just contact the organizers and tell then that I'm not coming after all... so that they can maybe find someone else they can sell that ticket to. (the ticked could be transferred to someone else, but I'm of the opinion that the organizers can sort this one out better than me)

However, there is a slight chance that I might be able to go after all.. But that would mean that I'd be maxing out all my credit cards... I need a new passport, and naturally I'd need to by myself some plane tickets to and from the event; accommodation would also be of the good... And there are loads of other expenses as well. As far as I can calculate, I'd need to spend a little under $2,000 to be able to attend, in addition to that $300 I've already paid for the ticket...

I KNOW I can't keep on being undecided for much longer, but still... I'd love to be there...
