First time creating an espresso tonic. First time I tasted it too! Pretty nice I'd say. The quinine in the tonic brand is bitter though. . My recipe: • 1 shot of espresso (I used 10g coffee), preferrably citrusy coffee as this is good for iced drinks • 100ml tonic water (approx only) • 3 ice cubes • 1 lemon . What you need: • espresso machine or a moka pot • tall glass . Steps: Prepare your espresso. While waiting, get the tall glass and put in the ice cubes and the tonic water. The tall glass is important as the espresso will make the tonic water expand. Pour the espresso over the top of the iced tonic slowly. Squeeze and drizzle the lemon on top of the drink. Stir gently then serve. Enjoy! . Take note that the fizz disappears, sadly. This is a different topic though.
