Can I request something?
Can people on ALL social media platforms stop posting things about who is “more courageous” than Caitlyn Jenner already? The ESPYs are done, OVER WITH. And it’s getting a little annoying to continually see you get on your soap box and preach about how someone you have NEVER met isn’t as courageous as another person you have NEVER met. You have no idea whats behind someone and part of their life. There are many different types of courage.
To everyone saying that Caitlyn Jenner doesn’t deserve respect because she’s not being brave, or a “real woman”
You and your pissy attitudes are the exact reason why she won the Arthur Ashe Courage Award in the first place.
I love creating opportunities for clients to #build #network #expand thanks to AmericanFederationForChildren and #ksdginmotion for including #treadaympr #wbu #boxer @rockblackwell among the #stars #espys2015
I finally watched Caitlyn Jenner's speech from the other day. If Caitlyn Jenner existed before a time when Spencer Lowes existed my life would look very different today. Growing up I didn't know what a trans person was, I didn't even know that the word "transgender" existed. I felt different but I assumed I was gay and that was that. Before I came out as anything it was a rough go, for personal reasons I was terrified to come out to my family. Not that I thought for a second they'd abandon me, but because although they would accept me, I would hurt them deeply. I rejected myself and who I was to protect them and I don't regret that decision at all. It was what needed to be done at the time and I'm at peace with my past. Caitlyn Jenner used her platform to educate a brand new generation of allies and community members about the struggles and dangers of both coming to terms with being transgender and of telling the world who you really are. Her speech made it so that at least one kid, watching ESPN with their dad, can see that shit does get better. She used her platform to speak out about the dangers facing trans women of colour in America, a light that the media has yet to shine. We have a long way to go, but Caitlyn, I'm so thankful you're here for the ride. Welcome to the team girl. #caitlynjenner #espys2015 #trans #transgender #mtf #ftm #thankyou
When will people quit raising the question of why Caitlyn won her award to shame her and realize that they themselves are the reason
