been awful quiet lately...
Sorry! Thought I addressed this already.
I was in the hospital.
And since someone is sure to ask, here's the labs that led to me being admitted
The three critical ones are the RBC, WBC, and GFR entries.
The combination of the entries for my red and white blood cell counts shows I had a very bad infection.
The GFR of 9? That's my kidney function. For those who don't know a GFR under 15 indicates actual renal failure has happened. In my case, it means I have two completely failed kidneys and the third is on its way out the door. (Yes, I had a transplant, my body ultimately rejected it).
I was on dialysis, but they stopped that a few months ago. In fact my doctors are surprised I'm still alive at this point. They expected total failure to happen before the end of August.
