There's a character in the Stormlight Archive named Essu who is driven mad by being reborn one too many times. Her mother Raboniel is a scientist wants nothing more but to ease her daughter's suffering and wants to find a way to end the cycle of rebirth so her daughter doesn't have to suffer anymore.

Kind of an opposite goal of what Essek has going on with his mom, but I couldn't help noticing the similarities

My EESU headcanons nobody asked for:

I read through the works of @dresden-syndrome and worked up some things about the lore, mainly concerning comrade Erhardt and Radím:

Radím has heavy Czech accent when speaking German. Despite his best efforts for proper pronunciation, the accent still peaks through whenever he speaks.

Günther finds it very cute, though he would never openly admit it. Atleast not to Radím. Instead he teases him about it. Especially his heavy R's.

 Prior to his capture, Radím wanted to learn German as part of a plan to some day escape to Western Germany. The irony of his current situation makes him feel bitter. Now he’s learning German to communicate with his captor. To better serve the regime he worked so hard against. Knowing that he will never get more than a few feet away from Gunther, let alone getting away this god forsaken country.

 Radím dreamed about learning English and maybe make his way to USA. However there wasn't much opportunity in Czechoslovakia to learn English. In this political minefield, attempting to learn it instantly got you put on a watchlist. As a counter-revolutionary he didn't want to draw more attention to him so he didn't pursue it.

The top choices for second language in Czechoslovakia were Russian or German. Radím learned a bit of both but focused more on German since he saw it as his potential ticket across the iron curtain.

German grammar has so many opportunities to make a mistake. Der/Die/Das, mein/meine. Not to mention the pronunciation and the unforgiving word order. This basically gives Günther a green card to punish his pet anytime he feels like it. This way its more painful for Radím because he knows this could have been avoided.

Russian is the main language used across the soviet union. So naturally, Günther as a government official must know it. He can both and read and understand Russian pretty well. He can speak Russian too but only does so when necessary, since its pretty tough for a German to speak Slavic language.

Because of that, he can understand quite a bit from what Radím is saying when he speaks Czech. Most of the time he pretends he pretends he doesn't. Its a wonderful opportunity to peek into the thoughts of his prisoner.

Günther probably also knows some Czech basics since he worked in Czechoslovakia. Its a neighbouring country and lot of Czechs and Slovaks work in Eastern Germany, since its seen as a more developed country.

Radím suspects that his owner knows a few words or phrases in Czech. He avoids swearing in Czech at all costs, since that's the first thing everyone learns. And a thing that you never forget. But it slips out so easy when you're under pressure.

Title: Getting to Know Me: A Journey of Self-Discovery

Maupay nga Adlaw, dear readers of the Tumblr community! My name is Albert Borata and I'm excited to embark on this journey of self-introduction and sharing all about myself. So, grab a cup of tea, get comfortable, and let's dive in!

I am from San Policarpo Eastern Samar, fifth among nine siblings, I am a passionate individual who believes in the power of self-discovery and personal growth. Through my experiences, interests, and introspection, I have come to understand that life is an ever-evolving process, and we should embrace it wholeheartedly.

You may wonder that I am already 27 years old but still in my fourth year college, honestly, I stopped my education for 5 consecutive years due to critical economic crisis. Basically, my parents don't have the chance to send me to school because of financial problems. I have also taken 6 vocational courses at Tesda, its for me to have more knowledge and skills and make myself ready to matter what the world has to offer. But I have realized that I should work hard for myself, by 2018 I decided to continue my studies because I believe that my brain is still hungry of knowledge.

I took TVL course which is Beauty Care and Nail Care, coz my mom said that she wasn't sure if I am going ro make to college, it gave me the drive to study hard, and luckily I was a consistent honor student until I graduated my senior high school.

Now I am an Freelance hair dresser for 4 years, which is very useful in my college days, through home services, on hair and make up, whole body massage and more rakets, I was able to buy a kilo of rice every 4 days. I'm proud to say that I am the one supporting myself to finish my education, but I'm also happy that my parents are there to support me mentally and spiritually.

One of the things that define me is my love for creativity. I am an artist at heart, with a fondness for painting and sketching. These activities allow me to express my emotions and thoughts visually, creating a connection between my inner world and the outer reality. I am also a Volleyball player,and scrabble player.

Aside from the arts, I find solace in the written word. Writing has become my sanctuary, a medium through which I explore my thoughts, share my experiences, and connect with others. On this Tumblr blog, you'll find a variety of content, ranging from personal reflections to fictional stories, poetry, and even some tips for self-care and personal development.

I am also a firm believer in kindness, empathy, and understanding. I aspire to create a safe and inclusive space on this blog, encouraging open-minded conversations and embracing diversity. I am loud and proud member of LGBTQIA Community. Let's support each other, lift each other up, and celebrate the uniqueness that each individual brings to the table.

I also want to share to you my boyfriend who has been my number 2 supporter, because my family is my number of course haha 🤣, I am proud and happy with my partner, being so thoughtful and caring 😍.

He helped me a lot in my studies not only in financial aspect but in my mental wellbeing as well to keep unspired and feel loved every day.

WHAT I DID IN BORONGAN TOWN FIESTA?

Many of you had enjoyed the said event

So here's Mine

I was not able to document other stuff I did at the Borongan Town Fiesta, but I'm so glad that I had a few small video clips that I took on September 6, 7, and 8.

 

I wasn't able to watch night shows in Town Plaza because I was busy getting everything set for our gigs. I didn't watch the shows and events, such as ESSU NIGHT and DEPED NIGHT, because I was busy preparing for our gigs, and in the next day I just slept all day because of lack of sleep in view of the fact that we were tired at that night

The tradition and culture of the Borongonan gives color to the annual celebration of the Padul-ong Festival. The gathering of relatives and friends and, of course, the commemoration of the Catholic devotees of the Virgin Mary who sincerely offer their prayers during the annual festival in town.

Despite the celebration of Mama Maria's devotees, I was overstretched with my work. We played at Rawis Resort and Restaurant because many guests came, especially tourists from different places, and we also played at Melinda's Resort and Restaurant, where the CEO or owner of that place was the major sponsor of the feast.

That was my event during the Borongan festival. I was just being honest in my blog because that's what really happened to me at that event. I'm sad that I didn't even witness the colorfulness of the festival because we have to be practical.

I also have a glimpse of watching my favorite outdoor sport, which is the flat-track endurance Enduro. I do love riding motorcycle since i grew up from a family that engaged and knew a lot about repairing motorcycles. It was fun there.

When the parade was over during the festival itself, I went to my uncle's house to grab some food, and I stayed there until the night. We bonded with my cousins and went home happily.
