Estollic / Kinlike / Kin-ish
Estollic, Kinlike, or Kin-ish, is an alterhuman (otherkin / therian / fictionkin / etc.) term for those who identify with / as a kintype (theriotype / fictotype / etc.), but only somewhat. They may see themselves as being ‘like’ an animal / character / etc., when something feels ‘like’ a kin, or feel ‘-ish’ about said type.
A liketype could be an animal / character one is usually associated with, by themself or by those around them. It may also be an animal / character one feels fondness for or feels a connection to, but doesn’t fully kin for any reason.
It is not meant to be a derogatory term and is a self-identifier only. Liketypes can be involuntary, voluntary, or anywhere in between.
One’s kinlike / kin-ish / estollic type could be called an estol / estoltype, liketype, typeish / ishtype, or an estol / estoltype. ‘Estollic’ is inspired by constelic [link]. Other terms under this umbrella: fictoestol, therioestol, otherestol, etc.
