Maxim from Lufia drawn in Mario Paint (Nintendo Switch version)
Midori One Day One Page 90!
Something a little self-indulgent for the last day of Lufia Week! Basically I like to think that after the events of Fortress of Doom Jerin continued to visit Artea on the regular... it's implied she doesn't know much about her elven heritage (she states she can't read Elvish very well) and has a connection to Artea through the bow, so why not further? And he can teach her his unique magic from Rise the Sinistrals!

#365DaysOfVGM Day 56:
The Final Decisive Battle (Lufia & The Fortress of Doom; other versions [2001/2010])
Not battle, but classic buildup BGM, almost as if a battle is nearby in this list!
(Length before loop [Games]: 1+ minutes, [Arrange]: 1.5+ minutes)
A thing I like: when a video game series has a few recurring themes that play in most (if not all) of the games.
(Personally my favorite of the four is the original Lufia 1!)
There’s probably one person on the entire of tumblr who might be interested in this drawing, aside from me, but damn if I wasn’t gonna draw it after having some feelings while watching a speedrun of the first game.
Say hello to one of my SNES favorites, the one that I’ve never beaten but I love to pieces, the Lufia/Estpolis series.
I know this is still in my influence brain pile, because I love a lot of things it brings to the table. The redheaded hero boy, the corrupted gods, the 100 year cycle, the Important Girl.
So anyway I had a really great time deciding what Erim would look like in the background. I used a little bit of her designs from Fortress of Doom, Rise of the Sinistrals, and Curse of the Sinistrals. Deciding what I liked and what I didn’t to combine them together into my own styled design was a lot of fun, I love the fact that I get to do that for SNES games honestly. Just take a little of all the official art I can find and mash it together. also the spread of her hair, A++ content I love it.
I did that a little bit for Lufia, as well, though I took most of the inspiration off her sprite being pretty simple. A simple girl with a simple dress, unprepared for the destiny she embodies.
Seena is Seena, I didn’t really improve or change her design any particular way. But she was fun to draw at last, I’ve tried to draw her ever since I was in high school. So I can cross that off my list as a thing I accomplished.
All in all I had a lot of fun drawing this. I’m sorry about its inherent existence being a kind of spoiler, but /shrugs!!
