“Excuse me.” The silver-haired champion man slowly placed his egg on the empty table between the two. It was a slight relief off his shoulders to be able to take a break from the extra weight that he had been carrying around recently. Nevertheless, he was excited for whatever may come from this egg.

“You don’t mind if I place this down here, right Lorelei?” Steven glanced over, realizing that he should likely ask before just taking over the table.

👑 - Fighting for a treasure -eternalglacies

Enrichment was an important part of Pokemon rehabilitation. It wasn’t always easy to keep a Pokemon entertained when it was huge - Mike-26, who was a Mamoswine now, suddenly found himself a lot more difficult to care for after Leo helped him evolve.

So finding a foraging box specially designed for Mamoswine - just the right size, and the outside decorated to look like an ancient tundra, with big white foam cubes inside to hide other toys and treats in - was a super lucky break. What wasn’t lucky was running into someone else who wanted it. Especially someone strong enough to fight for it.

Running his tongue over his lips in nervousness, Leo held himself together and ran his thumb over a Timer Ball in his palm. His apparent rival, the Elite Four Lorelei, was going to make his life difficult. He was just a desert dog, and he had to help one of his poor Ice-types fight for his right to party.

“So we can agree, one on one, our Pokemon that are going to use the box against each other?” It wasn’t necessarily a fair way to settle the argument. It wasn’t like a weaker Pokemon didn’t have a right to toys. But this was an easy way for veteran battlers to settle disagreements.

“Hm.”

The initial touch was enough to bring Sabrina to mentally recoil, but she doesn’t pull away. Not this time. She allows the snake of a woman to draw an arm over hers, sliding her gloved hand into hers. Even through the soft near silk like texture of the glove, she could feel the shape of Lorelei’s hand, the smooth skin, the gentle firmness. The coolness to them was something preferable to warm, sweaty ones that would have her recoil in a heartbeat.

If Lorelei would like to take the lead, the psychic would allow her to --- this time around. While that aura of danger surrounds women like them, so far this copy showed no resemblance to the one she knew. The poppy sort of attitude, regardless of the topic, was one she would have never expected from that ice queen.

“I have these later years,” her eyes narrowed then, “but not as much as you’d like to enjoy. I prefer having a modicum of control.”

“As for something fun, well, I’m certain we could find something. I hear Sea Foam Islands are an excellent place to visit this time of year --- or a candle light dinner.”

"Fancy meeting you here of all places, Green." Was it? Was it really, Lorelei? You're literally talking to Green while standing in front of an empty claw machine, plushies in both arms as if nothing intricate happened. "You must be very bored if you're coming into the gambling arena here~" - eternalglacies

He eyes the large number of stuffed toys within the redheaded Elite’s arms and abruptly decides he doesn’t want to know. Even so, Green gives her a polite smile. “I’m just checking in on the place.” He laughs slightly, running his hand through his hair and smiling down at her. It’s been some time since his last growth spurt, and he’s a little surprised to find he’s taller than her.

“I’m usually not playing any games however,” A faint shrug. “Most of these games require two hands to play, so I’m just generally just pop in to keep an eye on what’s going on.” Fidelity trots up, psychically offering the Elite a bag to hold her prizes within.

“Oh - there you are Fidelity.” He smiles and rubs the top of her head, before taking the bag out of the air and offering it properly. “Here Miss Lorelei. This would be better than carrying it all around like that. Your arms would get sore otherwise.”

Really, @eternalglacies? Really? Green doesn’t want to know.
