Tumblr has eaten this the first two times. If I have to retype this again I may lose my shit. The irony of this post is not lost on me.

1. I love to workout. Seriously. I love OCRs and spending time in the gym or just running. I love the endorphins while I workout and the way it makes me feel after. Gotta exercise the mind and the body.

2. My family makes me really happy. I have lots of acquaintences and a few good friends, but I prefer to spend all my free time with my family. Not out of obligation, but because they're awesome.

3. Photography. Photography is my creative outlet. It's my way of combining what's inside my head with what I see in the world to (hopefully) create something others can enjoy. I wish I could make a living at it, but then again I probably wouldn't love it as much.

4. Alone time. I'm an introvert by nature, so alone time is my way to recharge the batteries. I have so much space inside my head I could sublet it. I can shut of my brain almost at will. I'm one of those freaks who prefers to workout or go for a run without any music. Quiet = peaceful. It's amazing how many things you notice when it's totally quiet.

5. Comedy. Some people love music. I love to laugh and I love great comedy, whether it's performed or written. Comedy makes a bad day good and a good day better.

Thanks to the inimitable @eternaltoska for tagging me. Ok, let's see how this goes... 

 Nickname: Showbiz ppl or anyone that knows from my entertainment career calls me Vybe (or Vibes/Vybes) although my full stage name is Mista Vybe. Only teenybopper fans call me by the full sobriquet though lol. My immediate family (which really is only my mom and a few "aunties" now since my dad passed) called me Master P or Young Gordon growing up, but that pretty much stopped when I grew facial hair lol. I've had some old friends and a couple exes call me Patch back in thebday. One ex called me Patchy Bear lol.
 

Star sign: Cancer. (I refuse to the acknowledge the "new" zodiac signs since Opiuchus was added, mostly because I fucking refuse to be a Gemini. Period. End of story. In the Chinese horoscope system I was born in The Year Of The Rat. 


Height: 5'8 & 3/4″, but I usually just round it off to 5'9" 


Time right now: 7:55pm Atlantic Standard Time. (Fun fact: we don't do Daylight Savings Time in the Caribbean)

Last TV show watched: Last TV show I watched before going to bed was Law And Order: SVU (Season 18, Episode 8), but my son and I are about to start watching Sherlock (Season 4, Episode 2 as soon as I post this). 


What are you wearing now: Grey t-shirt, grey basketball shorts and black Adidas slides with the white stripes. 


When did you create your blog: Thought it was 2009 but I checked my Archive and turns out it was created in March 2010. 


What kind of stuff do you post: I post a little of everything tbh. I promote my Songwriting, share random thoughts, reblog whatever I find interesting. I named it Inside Mista Vybe's Head because I kinda promised myself it'd be the one place online that I post exactly how I'n thinking at any given moment in time, and that holds true to today. Because of that my Tumblr has changed stylistically alot over the years. I used to post alot more music based stuff, fashion/style (AKA shit I wanted to own) and upbeat positive affirmations when I first started. Nowadays my Tumblr reflects my more much more skeptical view of the world and a lot more political/global/humanitarian issues and nerd/geek/blerd stuff that i'm passionate about. 


Do you have any other blogs: I have an "official" WordPress blog but it's down right now... I really need to get around to revamping it 🤔 


Do you get asks regularly: No I don't. Which is frustrating cause I love asks! Send me some Asks y'all! Anon is always on. Nothing is off limits. Hit me up!!! 


Why did you choose your URL: I pretty much explained it in the "What kind of stuff do you post" section lol. But basically this Tumblr is exactly what the heading says - "a quick journey INSIDE MY MIND, UNDER MY SKIN, BEHIND THE SCENES, BACKSTAGE, BETWEEN TAKES and BEFORE, DURING & AFTER THE MAGIC HAPPENS". "The Magic" in this case being my creative process as a musician/producer/performer/artist/Creative. 


Gender: Cis Male. 


Hogwarts House: Gryffindor all the way. (Secretly I kinda wanna be Slytherin sometimes though 🙈) 


Pokemon team: I'm gonna go outside the box here and say Team Rocket only cause I think Meowth is hilarious, and for that reason alone I think they should be allowed a win just once, man. Lmao! I know that's not a real choice but fuck it that's my final and I'm sticking to it, Alex. 


Favorite color: It's always been a three way tie between blue, black and purple.

Average of hours of sleep: 6-8. 


How many blankets do you sleep with: One linen sheet and a Comforter. Yes, I know I live on a tropical island but we have this awesome 21st century technology called air conditioning. And comforters make sleeping cozy. Judge me all you want. 


Dream job: Honestly my real job... nay, my career is actually my dream job. I always wanted to make music and/or be creative for a living and now I do. Been making a living musically since 1995. And even before that I was an entertainment journalist so even then I was a Creative professionally lol. I guess it was just meant to be. Other than what do now, i'd love to be a Film/TV Critic on like Youtube, or a random af podcaster/host. I also have a secret desire to be an Interior Decorator which I satiate by binge watching HGTV. 


Followers: I find it fascinating that I only have 268 Tumblr followers and quite a few of those are porn bots. It's weird af to me because I have 4,417 followers on Twitter, 3360 On my FB fan page and I'm at the max limit (5000) for Friends on my personal FB profile. But there's significantly less ppl on here, even though this is where i'm most active/engaging and where i'm the most uncensored lol. Weird. I kinda like that in a way though. Less random eyes scrutinising makes me feel okay about being candid here, I think.
