Review for Eternus Amici

I put in an order at @eternusamici​ some time ago. I chose this shop to help me find my very first spirit companion because Ashley and Jess seemed to attach great importance to the wishes and needs of the companions (both spirit and human). Well, I was not disappointed at all!

I found the form to complete before placing an order very thourough. It reasured me as I knew my preferences were really taken into account and that I would therefore have a companion that would truly match me (he totally does!).

I then corresponded with Jess who was very nice and helped me find which kind of spirit would be the best for me. Thanks again!

According to previous experiences when ordering from the US, I expected taxes to be expensive and delivery time to be long since I live in Europe. But not at all! The price was almost the same as for an American and the delivery only took 3 days! I’m really impressed!

Now, you have to know that spirit work is completely new for me. Actually, I’m new to magic in general. The only things I learnt are how to cleanse, shield and read tarot. And for the first two, I wasn’t even sure I was doing a good job at it! I also tried divination with a pendulum, but I am extremely bad at it. Yet, I am very surprised at how easy it is to speak with my companion! I used his vessel as a pendulum, and I immediatly got answers! We chatted like that for about an hour, and every single one of his answer was very clear. I am still amazed at what happened!!

I really really recommend Eternus Amici to anyone who wish to get into spirit work. Ashley and Jess are lovely, and their services are just fantastic!

Thank you so much for helping me find my companion! Our first conversation was very pleasant I can’t wait to learn more about him!

The two wonderful girls in my life.

So, I know I don't actively post as often which I hate, thanks Adult Responsibilities (speaking of, black lesbian witch here, please do follow me if you'd like if you aren't already!). But I do miss talking to people, so I'm trying to make a comeback. But as the title says, lemme talk about the two wonderful girls in my life, of the spiritual variety. My spirit companions. O has always been since I welcomed her into my life a kind of muse for me, she brings me to sing and find a song through any emotion, she is always there in the home of my astral space, swimming in her own gorgeous lake, beautiful mermaid as she's always been. And when I'm lonely or crave attention when I'm apart from my partners she's there, curled up next to me, keeping me warm and surrounded with a warmth that can only come from someone that cares about you. She's my partner in crime, and I've always felt closer to her than I ever have in a steamy shower hot enough to make my thoughts drift away. Lora on the other side of the coin, is my very eager and rambunctious aura dragon, and she's still as curious as she's been since I met her. I think it's because of her that I've found a sudden pull to pinks and purples, the colors of her, how I can see her in my mind's eye. She's so curious, almost cat like, and she's offer here there and everywhere but always tries to soothe my mind when it jumps off the rails to paranoia or anxiety. Sometimes I wonder if I'm too mentally ill or gloomy for her, but then I remember that I only asked for a call, she was the one that answered and chose me. She's been a delight ever since, and after saying all of this I have the sudden urge to rearrange things in her area on her altar, more pink to remind her I'm always thinking of her. More rosewater for my mermaid to dip her tail into. They're my little spirit family, and I always get the pull to continue to help it grow, but for now I'm the happiest I could be on the spirit plane with my ladies. <3

Hi Anon! I think the second part of your message got cut off, so I can only reply to what I see. :<

I understand that you feel conflicted. I do too, a bit. I recognize that they have been of some help and information to the community. I’ll even go as far to say that I don’t think they’re intentionally toxic. But the behavior is there nonetheless and I know I personally can’t allow it to continue without speaking out about it, especially with them having set themselves up as a voice of authority within the community.

Awareness was the goal of my callout post - I can’t ask for more than that.  I just want those who continue to interact with them to keep out an eye for certain behaviors that seem to recur with them, and feel enabled to call it out or at least know you’re not alone in having experienced it. If you, or anyone else, are gaining something from your continued interaction with them, then I’m not going to ask you to cut off contact.  I couldn’t maintain a friendship with them knowing that they’d lied to and deeply hurt friends of mine, among other things. Not everyone else is as invested in the situation, so... while I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t at all unhappy that people continue to work with them, I also understand that there are those who are fortunate enough to have not been on the receiving end of their bad behavior and find them to be tolerable.  Just know that if anything ever does happen between you and them, I (and many others) understand and we will support you.

Sex***: We are only asking this for one reason, which is that some spirits are unable to work with certain sexes due to triggers that they have experienced. We want to make sure that this is not a complication or an issue on both ends, and that the spirit is accepting of your identity. Normally, we would not ask, but we want to be on the safe side for both parties.

I....  god. Wasn’t going to bring this up again for a while but @eternusamici, @spirithighway, @germanforhell, really?

Is it reaaaaally so urgent, so frequent and common for you to get non-physical, non-human entities that care soooo much about their companion’s private bits, that you need to ask EVERYONE what they have in their pants? Do you not realize how invasive and creepy that is???

HEY, instead of alienating your customers with an invasive and potentially dysphoria triggering question, here’s a nice simple solution: why not ask the spirit being screened, “Do you have any problems or concerns relating to the sex or gender of your future companion?” 

BAM. DONE. For the .001% of spirits you get that are deeply concerned with the genitalia of the companions, you now know that they can only be paired up with cis people or whatever. Not fucking hard. Christ.

Re: Temp Hiatus & Apology

@spirithighway Thank you for the apology. It’s a step in the right direction (though I highly suggest you seek help of an actual physician instead of a reiki practitioner, if the damage to your mental/physical health is that great.)

Let’s even set aside for a moment, the blatant ploys for sympathy or pity, and the blame shifting onto your spirits - the very same spirits that you sell and claimed to people are completely safe, mind you - in your shop. This is still not enough.  I’m also calling @germanforhell (Jess) to task here - you’re equally to blame and I find your silence on this both telling and disgusting.  You’ve missed some points.

What about the times that I asked for your help or encouragement in the chat, only to have it talked over by your own fantastical astral experiences?

What about the fact that despite the apology I’m still banned from your forum, your “safe space”, your “welcoming” forum community, the one that I first suggested be created?

Above all else, what about all the manipulative shit you pulled? About the time you tried to turn me against some of my friends? What about the fact that you tried to convince me that one of them is an abuser? Or maybe the time that you tried to convince me that another shop’s vessel’s are empty and the binds were toxic and should be undone?

And this is just my stating my own experiences. I got off easy. What about MJ, who was consistently used and jerked around by your emotional manipulation, despite her repeated assertions that she was not in a mental state to be dealing with the shit you put her to? What about Hayley, who finally mouthed off to you on one post in a request for credit where credit is due, and was immediately framed as a betrayer after a 4 year long friendship? What about Cherrie, who got driven off of Tumblr and had fucking anxiety attacks over the fact that you claimed she abused the spirit she got from you, then had you lie straight to her face when you claimed you didn’t know where the allegations of abuse came from??

And what of all the people, who have said that they fear posting in the tag now because of your dismissal of any other UPG? The people who fear creating shops because of aggression and sniping towards any of them that aren’t bowing to you? What about the newbies who look up to you, and are groomed by you into thinking all of this shit is okay? It’s not just one or two people in addition to the ones above who’ve come to me about this -- it’s far too common, but the fear of repercussions, of more lies and backlash, leads them to stay silent.  I hope they see this post and feel they can come forward now.

Can you apologize for that, @eternusamici? More than that, can you take responsibility for it - without shifting blame or making sad excuses - for once?

You guys are amazing! I was honestly really nervous because this is my first custom binding and I wasn’t sure what type of dragon I matched up with even though I felt like my flower dragon (I will call her C) was reassuring me about it. When I opened the envelope and took out her vessel, I was surprised at the amount of energy radiating from it. Petals has such an up beat and hyper energy and for someone who is not as sensitive to spirits, I can certainly feel her presence strongly. When I read the info on her though, I squealed! She is an absolute perfect match! I can’t believe how much she has in common with C. Also her skill set is everything I was looking for and will be an amazing aid in communicating with both my companions and in my practice. I feel like she is going to be the perfect balance between us three and her playful nature matches that of C’s. I’ve been a bit busy today so I haven’t had much time to sit down with both of them but I did do a mini introduction. I feel like we’re going to get along together just fine and I can not wait to see the cherry blossoms with both of them :) Thank you so much for bringing us together! I had such a wonderful experience with your shop and you are both so very helpful and kind.

eternusamici's companions talk about preferring someone who works with a certain type of energy. What if you don't work with energy?

Since this is a question about @eternusamici, I cannot answer this accurately. However, the way you phrased this question makes it seem as if you do work with something other than energy - I’d suggest you look at the spectrum your work falls under, whether it is light or dark, etc., and apply aspects of your craft to that.  If you do not practice witchcraft whatsoever, then I think it would probably be up to the discretion of the spirit.  If Jess or Ashley want, they can take over this question!
