I’m not quite comfortable with using a webcam during streams or video’s. But a disembodied voice with no face can be off-putting to many viewers. To make up for this, I decided to create an online persona with dozens and dozens of expressions to replace the webcam.
This is the final design. It’s a bit simplified, as there are missing whiskers and there are normally more details on the vest, but it does it’s job.
The design is made different from the canon Raichu to make it slightly more unique, and give it a better identity. It’s coloration is different, fur is more obvious on it, the tail tip is a ball of fluff rather than a stiff lightening rod, and the circular squiggly’s around the ears are replaced with a lightening shape.
The yin necklace is a personal significance to me. Both the necklace and the vest are real life items that I wear.
