And they need comforting
They’ll grab you close and wake you up

acts like they didnt do it
or that you were bothering them
“you were tossing around so…”
pretends like you were annoying them
But nah
They needed you
Will tell random stories
Maybe something they needed to get off of their chest
Something they have never told anyone before
Night time is heart-to-heart time
They’ll caress your hands in theirs and trace your palms and fingers while they talk about their past or listen to you talk
Eventually both of you get quieter and quieter until you both fall asleep again
