Linda smiled bitterly. He was well aware of what he has done and even though his ex-girlfriend didn’t show much signs of being sad, or angry or anything after their break up, a guilt was still chewing in his mind. Which was quite uncommon for the flighty singer.
It could be the sign, that Navi was (from all those girls and boys) different in something. Linda couldn’t say exactly if it was her or his own feelings for her. He hated it so much.
However, he couldn’t help this sudden excitement. Excitement from being literally pushed against a wall. Honestly, there was no need for Navi to hit him. She did it already - standing on the stage, singing so fiercely and beautifully. The words of her song beat him up in such a stunning way…
“Your performance was much more poetic, I guess. Maybe I got just a little bit inspired. Anyway.. it’s nice to know you still like my pretty face that much. Honestly, a bruise wouldn’t look nice on it, so thank you for your mercy.”
