#Repost @ethicalfashion ・・・ The Ethical Fashion Hackathon on 06.05.2020 was an incredible day of open innovation. Over the course of 10 hours, passionate change-makers came together to create solutions to some of the biggest problems in the fashion industry. Among the participants were supply chain experts, fashion designers, engineers, teachers, students, labour experts, members of the UN family, environmental activists, NGO’s, factory owners, journalists, artists, actors, CEO’s, retail experts, supply chain workers, software developers, human rights experts and so many more. And the results of this cross-pollination of ideas by people from so many backgrounds were beyond impressive, with over 300 ideas and 31 final pitches in this short space of time. Now we prepare for phase 2, the ‘what next’ stage. In a few weeks these ideas will be pitched to impact investors, in the hope that they will become real solutions for the future. Because ‘business as usual’ is no longer an option.
