Junseo didn't want to scare Ako with the details, but he had been the first person to try his concoction besides himself. And although he had high hopes for the venom to work on the other male, he still wasn't a hundred percent sure if it would be as effective as it's been on him. He watched the other carefully, knowing he had something to combat any negative side effects that could arise. He watched Ako carefully, studying his facial features and trying to detect if anything bad was happening to him but from his reaction and the curiosity and confusion on his friend's face, he was safe to assume that he wasn't dying.
God, how messy would that have been? Accidentally killing your friend because he had a headache. It would be embarrassing for the both of them.
Jun let out a small sigh of relief when Ako spoke and chuckled softly under his breath, shaking his head in disbelief that his venom worked. "Yeah? I'm glad. Uh, to be quite honest with you Ako, I wasn't sure how you were going to react to the venom. I've only used this on myself and well of course my own venom can't really hurt me so you were my little guinea pig just now." He reached over and patted the man on the small of his back. "Like I mentioned - this stuff is diluted so it's just enough to do the job." When he asked how many vials he had, Junseo pursed his lips and looked back at his drawer, remembering the quantity. "About ten vials at the moment. It usually takes some time to make since I need to extract them from my fangs and that usually gets me a little worn out but not as bad as when I fully turn. I eventually want to make stronger strains of it to see if it has other capabilities but I'm quite satisfied with this batch. Why?"
The moment Akobel heard that there was a possibility that Junseo β sweet, sweet Junseo β had actually no idea what possible outcome could've happened when he injected that liquid into him, there wasn't any sense of panic that typically would overcome the fallen angel but instead ... hope? But Ako continued to show indifference, eyes slanted towards the other male while lips thin into a straight line and crossing his arms. "It could be because I was an Angel, y'know," Akobel murmurs, head lolling to the side as if trying to encourage the pain to come back but the venom really works and he feels nothing but his own heavy thoughts. (His headache doesn't linger. It's amazing.) "They used to say Angels were invincible or some shit. Maybe mythical creature venom doesn't hurt us."
Akobel stifles a chuckle all whilst Junseo pats him on the back, looking back at the other male with a small grin. "Do you think I can keep being your test subject? Like ... I dun' know β" Ako explains in thought, getting up from his seat to start pacing in front of their little wooden coffee table. "I get, like, really awful headaches and I don't know how you people manage but they're insufferable. I feel like my head is getting caved in by a hundred little mole people."
He listens to the other for a moment before a thought pops into his head β Akobel scratches his head, eyes glancing between the cabinet where Junseo had gotten his stuff from to where the male is sitting on the floor. "How about I let you try the stronger stuff on me if you can help me with my headaches? Because now you know I won't roll over and you can test your stuff!" Akobel is this close to begging but he'd beg on his knees as a last resort β Junseo doesn't have to know.
