What is the book on queer design that you're reading? That sounds like an amazing read!

Queer x Design by Andy Campbell (link to Amazon for convenience, but I highly recommend buying from a local bookshop instead)

It’s so, so good. It goes through all the various eras of queer design and provides historical context for all the images. It’s such a phenomenal way to get your feet wet with the breadth and richness of queer history through a stunningly visual medium. Can’t recommend it enough!

i’m only on book 3 haha it’s been slow going what with all the travelling i’ve been doing

Hello! If you don't mind me asking, what size canvas do you work with for comic pages? I'm trying to start on my own webcomic and I'm a little inexperienced.

Hi there! I draw Sister Claire at the ratio of 10x15 inches at 300dpi. (That’s the resolution if you’re drawing digitally, like I am.)  

You can draw at whatever size you want, but if you’re planning to print your comic (and you should always assume you will, because it’s no trouble to set it up at the start and otherwise it’ll be hell later!) you should made sure you use a standard ratio so you can get it printed from most printers.  A specialty size will cost you a pretty penny.

Hey so I'm a non-binary person using they/them pronouns and I wanted to say thank you for making such a cool non-binary character and being so awesome about making sure people respect their pronouns. It really means a lot to me.

i’d rather be insistent on it and try to encourage people into extending that same respect to others who identify as much than just let it slide
