Despite the title. Despite being King of Atlantis. There were some stubborn habits that were hard to break. To the world above, he was both Arthur Curry and Aquaman. To Atlantis, he was King. Finding balance would take time. Patience.

He kept pace with her as best, he could. She had a life time of experience against his own. “Old habits, die hard,” he said offering her, his typical cocky grin. He rarely let himself go around his people. Doing his best to keep his presence known. Not that he knew how to be a King in the slightest. “There’s always going to be some bad apple to ruin the bunch.”

He had to stop himself. He was quoting his old man way too much. “There’s always going to be some kind of fight. Despite it all, there’s good people up there. Just as much as there bad people on our side. What matters is how we handle it.”

He pushed himself in front of her. “I’m sorry for not saying a word.” He looked to the orca and ran his hand along the injury. “I’m sorry to you as well.” He was by no means perfect at what he did. He had certainly made his share of mistakes before and after becoming...his eyes focused on Mera’s. “Let me show you more of the word. More of the good side.”

If you could change one thing about rp on tumblr, what would it be? Why?

can’t say I’m an expert by any means as I’m far more centered around X-Men in regards to Marvel fandoms but I’ll try! some creative liberties have been taken since no age range was given and she’d never been described being of any specific ethnic origin, merely that she’s Russian-American. hope these helped!

What conflicting thoughts did your character have before they figured out they were asexual? Did they try and experience things they didn’t care for to fit in; such as crushing on people (aka finding them attractive when maybe they didn’t), tried to masturbate etc.

so cassidy is demisexual/graysexual and she didn’t really have this moment. she has just never been super into sex and always thought people were talking i hyperbole when they spoke about celebrity crushes and like masturbating or whatever. there was no real aha moment. she did def get teased for not dating and it bothered her but there wasn’t a huge experimenting phase. her first serious relationship lasted about six months and she ended up sleeping with him, they broke up shortly after. however, this wasn’t until after she graduated high school.

her lack of relationships was certainly fuel on the fire that is her last name for her classmates. along with most things, cassidy got over it. she’s too busy being badass to give a fuck.

she does want to enjoy sex more, but mostly to make loved ones happy than for her own benefit.
