Auby the fursona got her horsified variant drawn for the first time by the almighty @plurgrave - thank you so much for working with me! Y'all will see this auby v🐴.0 in a more stylised variant on a cover for the minialbum that's coming out soon. For now i just want to show off the first step at my fursona (horsona?) redesign!
We will see how well it sticks, but i think change is good and important. Having a fox sona is nostalgic and 'carries the legacy', but i don't have to be up my ass about that, the 'now' is more important. Always felt like more change is needed after i blended Astro and *.patch into ☆AUBERY☆ for a new main fursona - she's a bit too like Astro, whose masculine/pointy appeal i'm mostly leaving behind. Plus, i guess i vibe with horses better than foxes nowadays, and Astro/Patch were foxes because every second sona in 2013 was a fox and i wanted to get popular with my music. Astro was a lynx before that, so, fox is not the OG option too. Wow, it's been over 10 years
Anyways... she wears a bridle onstage because on top of being cute it's a sensory tool that helps her control emotions and not Explode from excitement. She was almost trained into a living weapon of sorts, which is an actual real life parallel to me, but like myself ditched that for rave and love. She's not the best runner ever but still can run at a shabby car's pace. There's more trivia but i'm not spilling it all yet!
