Last Line Challenge!!!

Thank you @hastalavistabyebye for the tag!!! Since I am already posting the actual chapters from Silent Night, let me share something from the Etyc'tooka this time! <3 Aka, meet my newest Corrie clone OC, Pie:

"Hi vod! I'm Pie."

"Oh, wow. Nice to meet you. You love pies?" Fives tried to initiate small talk with the cyber-weirdos if he had to spend the whole day with them on duty anyways.

"Nooo, silly!!!!" Pie grinned. "It's becauseee... I am CT-3141!!!" he boomed at him, but also stared hard as if he was waiting for something - some kind of reaction from him.

Fives furrowed his brows.

"Okay...?"

Ivy shook his head with a grave sigh, then turned to Pie.

"Don't mind him, he's dumb" their math-genius was wasted on the ex-starboy, really.

Hiiii! For the WIP game, could I ask for Etyc'Tooka chaps 5, 15 and 25? (All the Fives!)

Ooooh, all of the Fives, this little Etyc'tooka gets so much love :3

I already talked about chapter 5 here.

By the 15th chapter, Fives is already well assimilated into the Guard, having friends, doing cool missions and having deeper talks with his comrades. But he was never been on Senate duty - up until now. Now he gets the full package, with galas, asshole senators and Fox getting hurt in their stead in the end. During the night they will end up having a bit of heart-to-heart about what happened and how Fives percieved Fox standing up for them.

Here is a bit from it:

F: "You must be disappointed. You came to Coruscant because you expected it will be different here. You expected me to be different."

5s: "You are different. And if you differ from my expectations, then it is because you are so much more of a commander I ever anticipated you to be. I... I know very well how cruel and vile the natborns can be, just because... they can. But knowing the possibilities doesn't mean that I wasn't deeply concerned for you when that bitch cut your hand."

F: "I can endure it. I ran on sheer fucking spite and caf. But seeing troopers breaking down under the realization they are hated by the very people they supposed to protect... It breaks my heart too everytime, Fives."

5s: "And that is the reason why I would follow to the end of the world and I will follow you whereever you order me to be and do whatever you order me to do."

For the 25th chapter, it finally turns out that Echo is possibly alive, and Rex comes to get Fives on board for the mission. Note that Fives and Rex, also Rex and Fox has very bad water among them at this point, and btw Fox and Fives are already married. Since most of the mission already happened on-screen I'll probably will focus on the emotional tumoil going on.

Here is a bit from the chapter's beginning:

Fives started defending himself as soon as the office door was shut behind him.

"I swear I don't know anything about this! Rex only called me just 10 minutes ago!"

"And what did he want? Did you told him that he can go fuck himself?!"

"No! Fox… Listen. I want to go."

"What… Why? What did Rex tell you?"

"Nothing!! He wasn't willing to say what kind of a mission it was. But Fox… he looked… Horrified. Not scared. Horrified."

"And you want to go to the same place which makes him not only scared, but horrified. No! Absolutely fucking NO."

Fives breathed heavily. 

"He told me… He said that if I don't go, I might regret it in my whole life" He really had no idea what mess Rex was into, but he had the gut feeling that he needed to help him out. To be there with him. "Fox, please. I have to go. Please, let me."

Fox knew Fives wasn't asking for his permission. He already got his orders from above, and he was willing to go. Fives wanted his blessing. His heart churred. What riduur would he be if he didn't give it? He took a deep breath and swallowed his bad feelings about this.

"Alright. You may go. But promise me. Promise, that you are coming back to me" he let his selfish self dictate his heart's demands. He knew it was selfish, but he also knew he would die on the spot if he would lose his riduur.

Fives smiled at him, relieved, and cupped his face into his hands.

"Oh, ner vulpi*" he leaned in to make their forehead meet and hold on to the nape of Fox. "I promise. Remember? One when together, one when apart. I will always find my way back to you."

Fox heart sinked. This sounded just the kind of naive lovestory bullshit from Thorn's favourite soap opera which the hero knight says to the princess right before something terrible happens to him. He forced himself not to think about that.

"Alright. Go. Go, before I change my mind."

* ner vulpi = 'my fox' in mando'a. "Vulpi" is my creation / addition to the language as I could not find any equivalent.

The fifth chapter is very action-heavy in Etyc'tooka because in it Fives goes to a mission for the first time after joining the Coruscant guard. He is a real badass and shows why he is an ARC trooper to begin with.

Also there are fun scenes too, because Fives is not quite used to his new armor yet (he had to swap his ARC gear for standard corrie armor) and keeps losing his balance because it is lighter with a good 25 kg than his usual kit and when he leans in, there is no kama to counterbalance his wheightXDD And the corrie troopers are like, "Hi, have you seen this evasive maneuver? What a mind blowing precision!" "For me it seemed he simply fell over his own feet though..." "It was definitely intentional! He couldn't have accidentally avoided those blaster bolts!" While in reality that was exactly what happened, he lost balance and fell on his assXDD

Anyway, here is one of my fav line from Five'ika himself in this chapter:

“This is what ARC troopers do. Make a path when there isn’t any.”

I literally just answered an ask for which I had to open my WIP files, check what I had in there and while I was at it, I just continued the scene a bit, so this is as fresh wip as it ever could be. Behold, Commander Fox having a hard time with natborn audiences:

"Fuck this, I don't have time for kriffing ceremonies, I have work to do!"

Yoooo ner vod, you are real bold here to assume that I actually had written all these chapters already :D I mainly have bulletpoints, notes, drafts and some halfway written scenes here and there at topsXDD

The first ch is basically a set-up for the whole story, it starts with Fox arriving to the Resolute, as a substitute for Rex who had a great injury in the last campaign. Here he meets with Fives who is depressed and on the brink of breaking - in this AU, Fives didn't discovered the chips, and losing and losing people he loves really pushes him to the edge. In the end Fox chaotic presence and the mission he takes him with makes Fives to realize that he needs a change in environment and asks Fox to take him with himself, back to Coruscant. (Wooops, those were already chs 1-3...)

The 33rd ch is planned to be the last one of this series, meant to mend loose ends - just to know what will be the fate of the clones and the Republic after the war ended.

But to give you a little tease of the small parts I had written, here is a few line of angst from CH 25 - it happens between Rex and Fives:

"The last time they saw each other was when they disowned one another. And now here they were, Rex grabbing his shoulder for emotional support and he hanging onto his hand for dear life. This was not the time to gash out old wounds. This was about Echo. Their Echo."

<3<3<3 Such a good choice ner vod! This will be the chapter in which Fox and Fives first do the sex!XDDD

The chapter start will be a disaster for both of them, so they'll go on to have drink and drugs in a club to deal with that shit, and one thing leads to another until they end up in each others arms. They were already pining after another for a while and drunk/consoling sex is the most honest one, so there you all go. Here is a little draft of how they even arrive to the topic (please forgive that they are stupid, they are drunk and high ok?) :

5: LOL that ceilight looks like a cock! F: Fuck no 5: yes, it is, it looks like a dick! F: pff, i said no. Look into your pants, is that how your dick's shaped??? 5: Maybe. I dunno. I guess. It's a nice, big cock. F: I won't argue with that… 5: SOOOO. What does your dick look like? F: …Old… 5: LOL I always imagined it's bent. Crooked, like your smile. F: WTF, you are thinking about my dick??? 5: Oh yeah, I very much masturbate to you and your crooked cock! F: And you can get off while thinking about me??? What's wrong with you.

Last Line Challenge

The last thing I wrote to was the Etyc'tooka and since the last lines I wrote was part of a dialogue, I'll put a bit more content here from it, just to give SOME context of what is going on in the scene.

“Don’t you dare to say that, you fucker!” he heard a sudden voice from behind.

There was the riduur. 

Fives’ outburst came alongside with a small black object thrown at him, which Alpha identified as a grenade. His body moved without any thought to get out of the immediate blasting radius, and only after being secure behind an overturned desk, he realized it was just a holoplayer.

Fives rushed through the room to protect his still trembling lover, to soothe his certain panic… but this didn’t stop him from further snarling at Alpha.

“Watch it! WATCH IT YOU SHA’BUIR! Watch it and dare to tell me that those chips are meant to be in us! That they are here for our own good! Watch what they did to your ad, to all of us and dare to look into our eyes and say we should be grateful for it!”
