I get home really late everyday because of commute, extracurriculars, etc. My problem is that I can't stay focused! I always doze off or end up playing on my phone. Any advice?

if you have the option, don’t start working right when you get home!! take a break (depending on how late you get home, this could be thirty minutes to an hour) and reconvene with yourself. eat food that won’t make you feel tired or sleepy, take a brisk shower – just have some quality me time

focus ultimately comes from discipline, so i think you’ll just have to take some time to train yourself to concentrate on your work. having background noise might help; try coffitivity, soundrown, or rainy mood maybe?? and maybe try keeping your phone far away from you. turn notifications off, put it on airplane mood, get rid of any way it can end up distracting you

you might burn out from working constantly for an extended period of time, so take breaks every time you finish a chunk of work. you could have a go at the pomodoro method – i personally haven’t tried it, but maybe it’ll work for you so!!! ( ᐛ )و 

also, i’m not saying you should drop your extracurriculars, but it’s important to only do what you can handle. your health is v important and you shouldn’t wear yourself out

I’m not much of a picky person, but once I like something, I reblog and post relating to only that something. Hence the reason why my blog consists of magi only lately < v <;

I have facebook but I rarely go on it. Last time I went on it… was January, and I only posted ‘Holidays yay!’ and that’s it XD
