After an announcement yesterday outlining what girls (and only girls) could and could not wear to school today (even though it was 80 degrees and the school would not turn on the air conditioner) someone posted this in a stairwell. A lot of girls were supportive of these posters, seeing as some teachers were sending down absolutely any girls wearing shorts.

I keep seeing posts like this that say that schools will punish girls wearing ANY shorts. How is it that schools have gone backwards in time from when I was attending? It is a massive and horrible and DANGEROUS double standard to tell girls they are not allowed to wear shorts at all when boys are allowed to, when it’s that fucking hot. 

Administrators who pull this shit should be forced to put on a snow suit and stuffed in a packing crate that’s addressed to the sun.
